NCsoft's October Community Address |

They are responding to the most frequent requests / complaints.
Botters need to be banned no ifs, ands, or buts about it. The huge amounts of xp needed from pve feels strange to hard core pvpers. Making that xp easier to get would go a long way towards making alot of folks happier. |

Their listening to the feedback of players. I dont understand what more they can do, NCsoft is really a players company. They see what the issues are address them faster than any game ive played, this is why ill be subscribing long term. Aion Gives you Wings!!! |

Not only are they listening to players, but they are also trying to do solve problems as fast as they can. Like he said, we can expect early next week an announcement of a new patch related to most of this issues. Great job NCSoft |

well, saying they listen to their players is only partially true. In beta the grind was pointed out, but as so often in betas, the "hardcore" players who can spend more time just say "suck it up" or "go back to wow" - so I guess the devs did listen and kept it.... now that poentially subs are going down, they have to listen to the ones not willing to pay.... Better late than never I guess. Then again, just taking AoC as one of many examples, the changes from "listening to players" did come/are coming, but too late for a larger player base. Business rulings in MMOs are sad reality where devs have to bow to deadlines of the moneygivers who want fast cash return :( |

They are certainly aware of the issues at least and all they can do is reassure us they are looking into it. They have put more effort into pleasing players in a month than ever pleasing players in L2. It remains to be seen what this patch next week will fix. I hope it fixes some crysdll errors and we see another mass ban. RMT will always be present in games but the goal is to make the gold/kinah as expensive as possible by making it difficult to practice RMT in Aion. |

Sounds good so far. But also, if i had 1Eur for every PR-phrase i read from a gaming company in the past, i wouldn't be playing games today. I'd be buying gaming-companies, we'd already have better games and wouldn't need PR-phrases anymore. :) "Women should not be enlightened or educated in any way. They should, in fact, be segregated as they are the cause of hideous and involuntary erections in holy men." — St. Augustine. |

Excellent, they are already hard at work solving the problems that were obvious a year ago when the game was first released. I'll be back in the world of Aion in notime! |
