Perhaps some of us realize this is a GAMING Forum meant for entertainment purposes. 

But yeah, for some life might be a bit more serious; so I can see how they might think a form of humor might be so nefarious.

You might think that more people having read this thread then are actually playing at peak time on either of the servers or this forum having more people reading it then Darkfall has subscribers are a bad thing, but it actually shows how much interest their still is in this groundbreaking revolutionary advanced next generation title.

See what Aventurine are doing is slowly working on improving the game until its absolutely perfect then WHAM! they will hit us with the 1 year launch anniversary free trial and will totally blow away all of the 300,000 troll haters that have deserted them with its best game evar awesomeness, then we will all be playing it and holding hands singing kumbaya and weeping about how wrong we were to doubt Aventurine and apologizing for being horrible little troll haters.

Just like Eve Online, Darkfall will grow slowly at first but then rapidly increase its player base and finally start receiving the incredibly positive mainstream press reviews it truly deserves.

OP puts a current picture showing half those numbers and showing just one side of  conflict. Eye-witness and participant confirms that more people attended on that single spot on that single occasion and that are not to seen from that perspective ss have been shot.

No one can put obviously a current screenshot from any game show at least the same amount players on the screen like OP screenshot shows but still the venomous remarks ( partial masked as false prophecies) using cowardly sarcasm or not, targeted at the state of the game or their fans hasn't stoped and being tossed around like it would proof something.

i have no idea what x-fire is.  im playing mmorpg´s since 10 years, and i dont care shit about it

One i would not worry about Xfire,i have been gaming for many years and have never used it,i have no reason to use it,why would i use it?

Something i knew would be a problem with games that offer something better than the normal is seen in that picture,everyone is mounted.It takes away realism and immersion of game play.How can you call something a siege if everyone is just riding up on mounts?you need catapults,players on foot using ladders,battering rams to open the gates,archers on foot using flames arrows,Spearmen to battle other cavalry/mounted players ect ect.This is called creativity and diversity,all on a mount is far too linear looking combat.I forget the movie but remember the Woades? all were archers that fought out of the forest and used catapults,then there was cavalry, also fighters that would hide under the brush then ambush,there was the fighters using shields,Pikemen.This is the kind of exciting combat i need from a RPG type PVP game.Heck who didn't like the movie 300?those guys weren't all mounted,heck none of them were lol.

Anyhoot it looks like some are having fun as you have a decent number join in for your raid,continue to have fun that is what it's all about.

Difference between you and other hypocrites is that you are one of the most vocal people on these boards, day in and day out pointing out the crimes of others while commiting those same crimes yourself.  With the amount of time you spend on these boards, when you do it, it is more visible, it is more noticeable.  People see it Darth, I just decided to call you on it.

He just states a fact that was right by the time he posted these. There are even no conclusions drawn in relation to health , longetivity or anything  of  Darkfall just an increase and the most you could assume from his statement is something like "Darkfall populations increases".

Good lord Darth, do you actually read what you post? So now we have stipulations on when using Xfire numbers is alright? Because Javac used it in defense of the game, he is not a hater?

A rundown of what basically transpired (paraphrased for my amusement):

Darth:  If you use xfire numbers to prove something, you are a hater.

Xyzax:  Darth, Javac used xfire numbers to prove something, so he must be a hater too.

Darth: ...

Darth:  ...

Darth:  Ummm...he was using them in a constructive manner, so he is not a hater.  Yeah, that's the ticket!

You can't have it both ways Darth.  If this were a court of law, you would have just lost your case.  Haters bring up xfire numbers to prove something.  That was your statement.  What did Javac do there? He brought up xfire numbers to prove something.

I did a summarize and started with

"Haters bring up x-fire total number to prove something.". I refer to the other topic these topic is an reply too and did these meanwhile multiple times in these thread. I could have say "a hater brings up x-fire totals...", i did not identified him as hater because he brought up x-fire numbers but of the type and the wording he uses and his intentions with his posts.

After reading these post i feel safe to characterize the author as someone hostile to the game and as an hater.

I didn' wrote : "If you use xfire numbers to prove something, you are a hater." you put a statement in my mouth i never did. Anyone can use them. Many haters don't want to use x-fire numbers themselves.

I give xzyax a benefit of the doubt but after my reply to his post and my clarification you should know and what you do now is  spin what i really said on purpose to make it fit your own agenda.

Probably a diversionary tactic, we still have to see a current screenhot from a favorite game of the haters showing what Darkfall renders and still that does not stop them venomenous attacks or diversionary tactics.

What did Javac do? He brought up xfire numbers to prove something.  Simple as that, an open and shut case.  There is no arguing that.  Xyzax stated he must be a hater for doing the same thing you stated the haters do.  And then you try and say it was okay for Javac to do it because in your opinion he was being constructive?

As for distraction techniques...paranoia much? Are they all out to get you? What am I distracting from? I didn't come into this fighting for one side or the other.  So what am I distracting from if the posts I have made are leading to the same subject? Review this thread, where have I argued anything about DFO versus other games? That is not what I am doing here.  I am doing nothing more than pointing out your own hypocrisy.  That is it. 

Stop adding chapters to this book that were never written to begin with.  Like I said, you are a walking contradiction.

And just another question...if the original post dealt with a screenshot and xfire numbers, why are you asking for screenshots from the "haters" game (which must include DFO, because we have now shown that yes, even DFO players can be haters by your own words)? What does that have to do with what DFO "renders", screenshots, xfire numbers, and you being a hypocrite? Especially when you are asking for this in reference to my posts calling you out on being a hypocrite, and quite simply pointing out the hypocrisy of your posts, and not truly arguing DFO versus other games? Please, explain, I need some more entertainment.

You create an whole alternate universe from that single sentence i wrote ? You have to write some novels, you must cultivate these talent of  yours.

Of course your current fictional story  includes a dishonest way of citing what i wrote, interpret with pretty low accuracy  the meaning of it. We see all the elements of manipulation, putiing words i did never say, ignoring what i really say, putting my statements in wrong context.

OP's  screenshot show how a considerable amount of people having fun in game, they share the same content and share it in the same spot a litle corner of Agon. Haters flame the game in these topic about the numbers. So please, a picture of their favorite game having million subscribers should easy show an comparable amount of people on a single screenshot, sharing the same content in the same area. It must be easy or ?

You don't play together with millions, do you ? You share always content with a limited amount of people in a limited area. Not every customer of the game interacts with you in the same time, in the same spot sharing the same content.

Op picture shows 41 people (not my number) that do these despite x-fire totals  or even other total numbers mentioned and tossed around.

 Your favorite games have millions of  customers , it should be easy to screenshot at least 41 of them doing something together like shown in OP screenshot..

I guess I am a bit more consistent when it comes to X-Fire numbers then.

I'm not really concerned with the agenda of the particular poster using the X-Fire numbers.  No matter who is using them, I don't think they really show much of anything other than perhaps how many X-Fire users there are.

However, I think where some may have a disconnect with your analysis is this:

If in one thread you think it is perfectly logical for a poster to draw the conclusion that:

"DarkFall populations increases" when X-Fire numbers go up...

Then it is by default necessary to also state that:

"DarkFall populations decreases" when X-Fire numbers go down.

If on the other hand; you don't think the numbers of X-Fire mean anything (up or down) then you can be more concerned with the actual use or agenda of said poster.

As soon as you give credence to X-Fire numbers showing an increase in populaion when they are positvie you accept the responsibility of accepting a decline in X-Fire numbers means a decrease in population.  The particular agenda of why a poster is using the numbers doesn't really matter at that juncture.  Afterall, the number speak for themselves.
