That all the negative reviews are from people who already were claiming Aion would fail well before the game has been released?

Maybe its just me - but it seems that the "reviewers" here have already made up their mind about a game before they even played it; and furthermore only played it to "make a point" that they were right in their assessment.

Seems to me everyone who hated Aion prior to release is now here STILL hating on it with their expert opinions and reviews. If you dislike a game before even playing it - I have no doubt you'll still hate it when you do play. A game is like anything in life... you get out of it what you put in.... If you go into something thinking its going to be bad, it probably will.

What matters to me is that the game is getting great reviews, and the servers are full of ppl having fun and theres lots of groups for everyhting.

Isnt that whats important for us who play?

People come on here to complain about a game they claim to hate, yet... can't stop discussing :D 

Interesting. From what I've noticed, some people around here like to deny all the negative reviews with excuses like this and keep defending their game blindly no matter how many people tell him how bad the game really is.

Yeah, the fanatical devotion to bashing a game has reached cult-like status lately. :)

But flaws every game have, there is no perfect game, and to have flaws doesnt meke it a less enjoyable game as a whole (at least the majority of them)

Just curious, my description above reminded me of all the religious people in the world for some reason..

I can believe that you like the game, I could come up with various reasons as to why too (which is why it's believable). However telling us that the people who gave the game bad reviews aren't unbiased is silly as well. Those people might, actually, dislike the game for honest reasons that have nothing to do with expectations at all. You giving us this excuse to tell us that the game really isn't that bad after all is why I think you're the type of person I described earlier.

 Well for me before launch, it looked better, i tried it out and didn't liked. Good that someone can enjoy aion, but it's not for me. What else i can say...

Oh, nobody should force their opinion on you, that's just bad. Every review is an opinion after all. But to deny it's validity with the silliest excuses is simply like lying to yourself.

I don't think anyone is really telling you that you shouldn't like Aion. People are giving their opinions and reviews of the game. People have different tastes and like different things. You don't have to read those reviews, no one is forcing text down your throat. 

Very often what I noticed is that when a person posts about any flaw that Aion has, he or she automatically gets labeled as a hater.

The point is, it's not just one or two times being said, it's the ten plus times they come back just to bash it for nothing else. It's like a fever that never ends with them. They never seem to move on from it at all and no matter how many people say they think it's awesome or how much they enjoy the game, they come in and bash it just so they feel good.

I don't think anyone is really telling you that you shouldn't like Aion. People are giving their opinions and reviews of the game. People have different tastes and like different things. You don't have to read those reviews, no one is forcing text down your throat.

I completely disagree... how many posts have you seen such as (and this is only an example) : "Anyone who likes Aion is obviously a fanboi because there's nothing to this game besides Korean Grind Fest"

Or "insert very weak reason here"....

I can list about 100 flaws I have with Aion... but none of them are enough to make me not want to play because I ENJOY the game... I feel people are just making excuses and not giving it time to grow... There are so many things that can be fixed - but keep in mind this game has only been out a month in NA (Please don't start with the "its been out a year in Korea" bullshit). Its a new game HERE - that's what matters.

When WoW first game out - it wasn't without its share of problems thats' for damn sure. I'd tend to say that game turned out alright.... (since everyone loves to compare the two) ;)

This is actually a great sign for Aion. The game has struck such a nerve with people that their jealous of a KOREAN game being so successful in West. Most ex-WoW players will have a tough time in Aion, since the game has more risk, complexity and is a game made for the MMO purist. Aion doesnt hand you free epics and hold your hand spoon feeding levels, and some people cant handle this type of complex environment. Its really no loss for Aion since they will run back to WoW and cry there :))))

No mater what the forum trolls say the Aion servers are always full and active, which is very important for Open World PVP like this. Even this very disguished site rated Aion as the best MMO ever reeleased :))) 

All the professional Reviews have been very positive.

We will indeed see, but calling Aion more complex than WoW is a bit of a stretch. Ad there's no jealous motives in those who've bought and tried the game for the first month - they just don't think its worth the subscription fee at this point in time.

For me, the PVE is way too lacklustre (linear / grindy / generic) and the client performance during PvP raids on my new rig is terrible, eventually leading to crashing.  NCsoft have said they're sending our crash logs onto the devs, but I'm not expecting a fix anytime soon.

The lack of EU customer support and rampant botting is are other issues I have, but I could probrably put up with those for the time being if the game didn't bore me enough already. So yeah, slight dissapointment after waiting for the game 2 years +.

The BEST thing about the game for me are the Abyss small skirmshes since they're so unpredictable and actually require tactics unlike the remainder of the PvP.

Actually I was praising the game , until I hit the wall of boredom. I don t start topics ever about Aion I just give my opinions of already started topics. Really who cares play  the so called good game and forget what people say about it.

Aion is the forum flavor of the month. Before this game was popular everyone was bashing/praising DF. Give it time and people will get tired of running their mouth about your current favorite game. No use fanning the flames though :P

Maybe those people paid $50 to have the priviledge to play beta, in which case they knew how the game played well before release?

MMORPG.com is plenty of trolls, like every forum, but the fact that someone has genuine complaints and criticize the game should't make it automatically a troll.
Maybe the complaints are justified...............hard thing to accept, I know.
