Of first i give a brief list of the better games i've played legends of Kesmai (beta-live off and on until shutdown), The realm Online (beta-live), UO (beta-live played untell AoS only really quit because my guild was moving on and i just had a kid and SWG was coming out=) SWG (1st day live until NGE take breaks for a month or 2 here adn there and sence NGE been back 2-3 times), WoW (beta-WoTLK, love hate with this.. liked the leveling and progression hated the gear grind and got old), Umm

Well.. i dont feel like typing them out like that so heres a list of the games i've played: (excluding the ones above) EQ,EQ2, Ashrons Call, Tabual Rasa, Aion, CoH/CoV, Champtions online, LoTRO, Guild wars (i dont really consider this much of a MMO), Plantside, PoTBS, Matrix Online,AO, EvE, Ryzom,Cabal,Lineage. Lineage 2,DAoC, WAR, DnD, FFXI, Vanguard, AoC, and i'm not gonna get into all the Free games..

What i would LOVE to find is a skill based (UO type the more you use it the higher it goes), but needs to progress at a reasonable rate.. i dont want to play 6 hours a day for 6 months just max out 1 skill (back in the day i could make a 7xGM fighter (mage or weapon) in just a few days or in SWG  pre-NGE i would max out a advanced fighting skill in 3 days (thank you holo grind =)

Would greatly prefure a gave thats dosnt FORCE pvp, i'm just about PvPed out.. been doing it sence the early days of UO.. and i have nothing to prove, i dont need to show others that i'm better then them.. thats what CoD is for LOL, if it has optional PvP great... just dont force it on me.

would REALLY perfere a non-fantasy midevil genre game again burnt out on them.. been playing them for the last 14+ years, but if thats all there is i will take it i guess

Really i'm, jsut checking to see if anyone knows of anything i might have missed in my looking..

the closest game i've heard about to what i'm looking for is Darkfall.. but that forces pvp and is mid evil time period =P

the games i'm wait for and tring.. find something to only me over are Star trek Online (only reason my Champions online account is on is for the beta.. go thte 6 months sub=P ) and SW:ToR, other then those 2 i dont really know of anything to look forward to.... maybe APB but havnt really looked into it...

pk system starts at lvl 10

pet system =u raise a fairy /daughter to buff you and her buffs and skills depends on how you interact with her as she grows from a fairy - little girl -adolescent -????.+she has like 25 slots for storage +_+

char skills are money/lvl based =no constantly grind one skill just to max it (tired of those types of games.....

There are 6 classes 3 males classes and 3 female and gender locked hope that doesn't kill it o.O

you can make ur own gear from resource u find and disassemble gear and use those
resources at 0 cost.

lots of quest to keep u entertained and dungeons that u can do solo and some in
groups.

OP: The game youre looking for doesnt exist. Theres plenty of people waiting for it though.

FFXIV. Skill based (think UO), non-pvp, although fantasy (with some sci-fi elements).

Ye i would say runescape is a good recommendation but you could also check out fallen earth, some upcoming games also might be perfect for you but i avoid hype.
