I read that the scene shown in your image above didn't go off as exactly planned.
Great movies and great actors can take you right past things like technical glitches. 5/5 for Platoon.
The Razor's Edge. (I'm pretty sure that Teala is probably the only person other than myself here that has not only seen this, but actually enjoyed it, lol) "You know, you have such a stunningly superficial knowledge of what went on that it's almost embarrassing to listen to you." Zbigniew Brzezinski to Joe Scarborough regarding Clinton and the Middle East on the "Morning Joe" program. |

Lord of the Flies - 1990 version. How many people know the movie used no script? It's true, the director told the actors what the scene was about and then let them ad lib.

Lord of the Flies 4.5/5. Great subject matter, should be required viewing for anyone who plays Eve Online. By the way I too am a big fan of the Razor's Edge. This brings to mind two films that I like so much that I'm going to post them both: This movie is not only a great comedy, but (I believe) an allegory about searching for enlightenment through many reincarnations. Anyone who has studied eastern religious traditions might see the examination of standard "pitfalls" on the path to Nirvana. Simply brilliant. |

Ground Hog Day 5/5 - Why because as Enk said it is an allegory and brilliantly directed and played. Another must watch. Lost in Translation 5/5 - This movie is one of my all time faves as well. Scarlett J and Murray pull this off despite the age differences. Life really tosses a curve ball now and then and we sometimes wonder if we did the right thing for ourselves...another must watch movie - the end will bring tears to your eyes. :p

7/10 for stereotypical characters, cheesy one liners, and overall bad dialog.

District B-13 __ 4.5/5 Great free running mixed in with the martial arts The City of Lost Children __ 3/5 Great set and scenery and some really nifty tricks pulled off by kids. but too weird The Mist __ 5/5 It gets a high rating because the theater experience was awesome Memento __ 3.5/5 I used to love this movie much more but eventually I started to get bored of it Donnie Darko __ 3/5 The ending was rather dumb in my opinion Mongol __ 5/5 amazing Heat __ 4.5/5 classic The Pursuit of Happyness __ 4/5 It made me feel really good when I watched this and I connected with Will Smith emotionally Idiocracy __ 3.5/5 It seemed really low budget but I thought it was pretty funny The Army Of Darkness __ 4.2/5 I almost voted less because I've seen this too much The Fifth Element __ 4/5 This movie is very unique and colorful.
