Mine Takeover PvP will make its debut in the Karos Online closed beta during this weekends upcoming beta test, which will run from Friday, October 23rd through to Sunday, October 25th.

Mine Takeover PvP is the most competitive form of guild PvP in Karos Online, as Fletta energy, which is found within these mines, is one of the most valuable resources found in the game. This weekend's test will allow for guilds to participate in mine takeover scenario for the first time, and the developers are eager to hear testers' feedback! Also, like previous beta events, players will be able to wage guild wars during the course of the event, which allows players of warring guilds to kill each other on sight.

If you're a PvE player, NHN has something in store for you this weekend as well, so don't feel left out! The new region of Peltrok will be available during this weekend's test for players to explore.

Remember, beta applications are still being accepted up until the beta event starts, so if you want a chance to take part in this weekend's test make sure you sign up! Also, for those players who have been accepted into previous beta events, there is no need to re-apply for beta, as you will be grandfathered into the upcoming event.

The English version of Karos Online is being targeted for a Q4 2009 release. In the meantime, why don't you check out the batch of new screenshots we've added to our Karos Online gallery?

Choose your friends wisely, for they may not always be what they seem to be.

Does this sound like a RF Online remake to anyone?
