Did anyone actually ever get this quest to work? I heared all kinds of rumor on how to do it but none of it seemed to work for me. I'm not looking for advice, i've heared them all. I'm looking for people who've done this quest.

I've just changed channels or come back at a different time until I could get it to work. Similar thing as the bones quest next to Impetusium. No real secret to making it work, just have to be a little lucky in timing I guess.

I just deleted it.

Isnt that the quest where you should use some scented stuff to summon a monster?

If so, switch to channel 4 and the quest will work just fine

I think that what happens is that the incense thing bugs out sometimes after someone just does the quest. Changing the channel fixes it.

It happened to me twice, on the Mythical Monster and the bones thing. Both times changing the channel fixed the problem.

I also had to change channels. Twice. Second time it worked.

I tried all 5 channels 2.5 times. Twice.

I'm not sure what to say other than that is how i got it to work. I wouldn't rule out that it isn't bugged.

I actually got it to work on channel 3 and I approached the bones from the back side. Meaning the side facing the cliff wall. I don't know if that has anything to do with it (I highly doubt it) but I wouldn't put it past any program for having some weird such issues.

Well i'm told it's on a stupid long cooldown. You would have a better chance of doing it late at night or sometime where not much people are playing.

Basicly your best bet is to try all channels and if it's not up on any, just move on and come back later.

No, it doesn't have a cooldown. I can confirm that it is possible for people to chain summon the monster needed. I saw it happened yesterday already. However, for some reason the urn that you need to click bugs, so I had to find a channel that had no issue with it.

Yet another day off "How to use insense" and ppl  fast applying " change channel".:)

1. Click the insense burner. Wait 10 secs. Kill mob.

2. If the insense burner seems bugged,  switch channel, check if you still have insense in inventory, if not,  go back and grab a new one - proceed to 1.

Ahh so thats what you do, I just ended up deleting the quest, same with that bones one.

I have had a little better success. I have done the quest 3 times, each time it only required me to change channels once. But I play late at night on the Pacific coast mostly, so...maybe that had something to do with it.

It has never been active for me to complete in the same channel in which I activated the quest. Always had to change the channel, but that was no big deal.

I tried it twice with a group. We will spread out between the channels and whoever works will pm the rest of us. Than exchange with each other the channels. So far no luck...

Ive also tried abandon the quest and pick it up again, same crap. Each time we will wait for about 15 to 30 mins before we give up just in case the timer is long...

Yes!!! I believe its fix!!! i log in and able to do the quest without changing channel, and same feedback from another player!

I did it the first time with no problems, then just after i completed it a guy came summoned the monster too and killed it... so no cooldown and no problems for me and that guy :)

1.5.0.11 removed the cooldown on that thing. Thank god
