Hello. I really want to hear what MMO games you think will be huge in the future? Maybe some on beta now? Maybe some with release long in future? Please post what you think :) |

the only game that "WILL" be a pretty big hit is the new one by Blizzard. Its really the only sure thing. SWTOR will probably do ok and Aions already out. GW2 will also most likely hit it rather big in the west. |

Not sure about the biggest, but the one MMO that I hope meets my standards the most is the rumored World of Darkness. |

What is your definition of Huge? in success? or a big world? |

CCP will not be able to create a real World of Darkness MMORPG. What a game like Eve requires is much, much, much more simple than what a World of Darkness game would require. Blizzard, NCsoft, SOE and all big MMO companies would not be able to create it too, not now, not in the next 3 years. Today or in the next 2-3 years it may be possible to create a single player game that really express what the World of Darkness is about in a single player environmental and in a more limited experience. It would be the game that Vampire Bloodlines was not able to be... but a World of Darkness MMO? Not now, not in the next years... |

Guaranteed HUGE MMOs. Those are the only titles that are absolutely without any doubt going to be huge. |

Final Fantasy gets treated like a red-headed stepchild among MMO gamers. It's very popular, very successful, and part of a long running well-known franchise. However, you'll find that the people that don't play it often overlook it when discussing major MMOs. |

Thanks for all the suplies. :) Well, many of you talk about Blizzards next big mmo.. Do you have a name on that? Or :) Well, Old republic is also one of those i am waiting for, so i hope that will be huge. |

MO won't be the biggest, but definitely one of the best MMO's in the future. |

Heroes of Telera don't look bad, think it'll be a long while for another huge hit like WoW, we'll just have to wait and play=D |

The Bethesda MMORPG. |

I would kill to know about Blizzard's next MMO. Aside from that, the only thing in view which catches my interest is whatever 'Copernicus' from 38 Studios turns out to be. I would be interested in FF XIV, but I'm not a fan of grinding. |

My best is in still the enxt 2-3 years time, wow will be the biggest, every year its the same, what game is going to be big next year and the next and the enxt etc etc. While all doubt and, ponder, blizzard strengthens its grip. There is no messing with blizzard, wow will remain the biggest mmo for the ext 2-3 years, lol the new expansion is not even out until the middle fo next year, and the hype thats got is already huge, like i said no messin with blizzard, coz they dont mess about simple as that. |

After having read the editorial of the "open letter" by that Curse founder guy, I can honestly say ...that if that man EVER thought a Korean game would go to 1 M subs in that 180 dollars yearly western based subs system... this whole mmorpg business is lead ... by idiots. This "industry" lacks ANY insight of what makes these sub based games "thick". I thought for 3 years it were the posters here that needed some medical treatment and help to come back to reality. But now.. these days ... I think this whole mmorpg scene is an intellectual no mans land. No wonder Blizzard pulls the strings. Apparently only very few (like Pardo) are capable of analysing what normal people like to ... play. The rest are really still living in mummy's basement AND have the worst taste since 20.000 years of homo ludens history. So biggest MMO in the future? Fat chance if it depends on guys like that Curse founder. Perhaps they should look for a job in the food industry as most of them already make posts about that every few hours.
Look Zorndorf lost a star again. ;)) The inconvenient linked truth hurts on mmorpg.com |

Blizzard hasn't announced anything about it yet. If you become obsessed with something you're chasing, there's a good chance you'll forget why you're chasing it. |
