Earth Eternal is not a bad game. In fact I was wrong from first impressions. In the early stages of closed beta the game seemed like trash to me. The game is really starting to come in to its own in late beta "open beta". I was one of those "errm WoW lookalike but beasts" yeah... Thats not stupid or anything. Now I'm level 14 and found myself remembering early MMORPGS when playing mmorpgs was fun and not a second job. Or overly anal and you need to kill 50 so and so for 'douche bag npc" so he can give you some crappy reward. The questing is not bad at all, I found myself pounding them out at a decent pace and not getting bored.
Everquest 1 &2 ,World of Warcraft ruined mmorpgs for me. I expect way to much out of mmos these days, however I'm sick and freaking tired of Korean grinders. I want something like Everquest and similar to WoW but not a full out clone. I'm starting to find that with Earth Eternal. My wife made an account and quit everquest shes been playing it with me for so long I was quite impressed to see her up and quit it.
It is 3 am and I'm up posting a drunken happy topic about a fun mmorpg I'm playing. I have not done this in years since the first day of dark ages maybe?
So my weird ass probably half brain dead opinion at this point is that Earth Eternal is my new mmorpg. I'll not be coming to this website every day sometimes 4 -5 times a day looking for information about a new mmorpg. I was starting to get frustrated at how I would google "new mmorpg" and find nothing but Asian mmorpgs that all look the same and all play like trash. I thought Aion would be cool but no Pve servers so my wife refused to ""allow" me to buy it. Oh yeah side note when you get married it is no longer your money that you make. No no its Her money & and you get to visit it now and then and hug it, just before the girls death grip on your wallet quickly yanks it away and runs or skips towards some faggy ass store selling stupid over priced scented crap.

Anyway wtf my characters name on the game is Meat Shield , yeah stfu after 14 years of playing mmorpgs everyday after work I have no interest in coming up with a cool name.'
I drink now, you have kids then judge me;P
This is not some advertisement for the game. I'm just extremely happy I have a fun game to play and de-stress from long day. So please don't flame my ass !

It's always good to hear about someone finding something that they enjoy doing. Be damned what other people think. I've just started playing Free Realms. I thought it wouldn't be fun because it's geared towards children but I like how the game helps you out and you can teleport all over the place instead of running everywhere. There's the option to just run there but the game itself will autorun for you. I myself am tired of waiting and waiting on the next great game to come out. I think it's just time to settle for something. |

I encountered an interesting quirk in the installer where it would just quit part way through, time after time.
Then, while I was debating whether or not this game was worth solving the problem, my furry alert went DEFCON 5.
It looks like a decent game, I'd like to play but it won't let me DL ......and I don't wanna get yiffed. |
