You mean that SOE isn't Evil??<blink, blink>  Thats like saying that water at room temperature isn't wet Blizzard has to my knowledge never officially stated that there would be a hero class with each expansion. Which is just as well considering how they messed up the death knight class.  It started out being a blast to play. After months and months of nerfing, I can't see the point any more. 

Blizzard has always been a company that if they do not like something no matter what they said or promised it will not release.  I have to respect them for that.  Maybe they tried to make a new class, but when they looked at what they had they did not like it.

Honestly, people are not bitching, because it is easy to understand that 1 hero class per expansion and player housing were only possibilities.  All developers talk about things they would like to do in the future and sometimes those things never make it into the game.  That is why the developers are very clear that they are only possibilities.

Soe does the same thing, as well as every other developer.  They don't make these type of comments to deceive or make false promises.  Most open minded people don't cry about it as if they have been lied to or that the statements were a promise of something, because they can read what these are only possibilities and not guarantees.

Really I don't think you understand.  Do you know why you seem to be the only person in this thread who is acting like blizzard lied Lied LIED!   It is because everyone else read what was said and understands it.  Everyone else seems to understand that these were possibilities.  Everyone except you that is. 

That is why there is not a huge outcry of people bitching as you... I mean the original poster is looking for. .  No one was promised anything and that seems to escape you.  Even when I showed you lied about blizzards comments you still want to turn them into something they are not, just so you can nerd rage.

Actually it was advertised on their official web-site, and not in the forums. What site would you consider Blizzard's official World of WarCraft site, if not the official World of WarCraft site? Hey, I've got an idea. I'm going to make an MMO, and on the official site of it I'll write "Servers opening soon", and then later, when I've sold enough copies of my hoax product, I'll change it to "Servers never opening" as it was only a plan subject to change, rather than a promise. Too bad for those who bought my game - after all, it was their own fault they saw my advertising as a promise, rather than a plan subject to change.

Im sorry i would love to stay and debate what the meaning of is, is. But I told the wife I intended to do a few things around the house today and unlike some, I fully intend to do what I said I would do. As for mobs of support for my position I do not expect that from a mob of fanboys lurking on a wow forum slobbering in anticipation of defending the holy grail of mmo's from those who think for themselves. 

I love how people say things like "no new classes...they will cause the game to be unbalanced" The game is horribly unbalanced anyways. Even if you take out the deathknight we are talking about still one of the most unbalanced mmo in history lol. So migh as well put out some new cool classes that people will want to play.

The monthly nerf of one class and buff of another is just business as usual.  But, i have also been condemned for my lack of knowledge about class balance as well.  There is justification in everything blizz does. Its just not apparent to everyone.

The old argument that WOW must be the best game as it has the most subs doesnt fly for me either, my maturity level again im sure. Having said that, I actually played WOW so I feel since I payed the price of admission I have the right to my opinions and if they irritate a die hard fan, on the payroll or not, along the way so be it.  My remarks are my own and whether or not the keeper of the holy grail of games agrees or not is of little consequence to me. If you and he agree, that too is fine as while I have nothing against you personally your opinion of me has little if any impact on my life.

Just so you understand, I am not defending the game and wow certainly doesn't need defending from someone like yourself.  I am simply pointing out that you are not telling the truth.
