Another pretty Asian MMO gets hyped like crazy on mmorpg.com.

Put out a pretty video and this website becomes the extension a company's PR.

Really people...do some reading...if you want to play a pretty console game, then buy a console.

The features in this game are horribly lacking. It's just another MMO that gets hyped like crazy but dies quickly after release.

You know if you really want to draw attention away from the game, you would be better off not discussing it.

 the game is awesome looking theres no question, but what im excited for is the combat mechanics, the races and classes look pretty cool to

Aion is slowly increasing my interest in the korean style mmos, so I'll probably check this out too. But why do the females always have to be half dressed? are koreans that juvenile? sexyness can be achieved more effectivelly without slutiness. Thats just my opinion. But I'll try Tera nonetheless, and Blade and Soul too.

So where's the list about all the features this game will pack with, so we can find out why the OP decided to claim the features in this game are horribly lacking?

Blade and soul is awsome. I just buy it and im addicted to it. I like the difficulty too, but the different is that B&S is free. Currently, i dont see any difference between B&S and tera. Ok, tera is an mmorpg and thats all. All the stuff you do on battlefield are all AOE attack that make you kill mass of mobs and it seem too be way too easy. Female characters are not seriously enough. I mean, 1 of them is half dressed, an other got a short robe that give you the impression that you can see trought her. It kind of try to atract the porn crowd it seem just to make money.

Personally, i see tera as a console game and there are many up coming games that will look like tera, but free. Diablo is kind of like tera, but in diablo, you see your character from the top and its a target system.

Im also start to be sick of the final fantazy character style. I mean the huge 2h sword start to be old.

Aion was the first MMO in years that was able to draw me in enough to lose track of time... it's not revolutionary, but it's solid and fun.

Companies use Final Fantasy style art because it actually looks better than your typical American D&D style. They all have this dumb look on their face and they suck at human anatomy. And if you go to the site, there isn't a whole lot of info on this game yet. Only 2 class descriptions. So no one on here has the right to criticize this game until we have an actual beta. From what I understand its an open environment/free roam MMO. That means no invisible walls and zones that actually connect seamlessly. I for one am keeping an eye on this one. I am more hyped for this one rather than that stupid nerd fest Trek MMO that won't get off of the #1 spot.

Listen... I like to read manga's(Well for free lol) But im sick of some manga style character. I like dragonball style character because they are super strong. So to show that they are strong, to make them seem more realist, they got big muscles and the stronger they are, the bigger they are. Look at the difference from Goku ssj3 and goku normal form. Look at Broly LSSJ1 and compar it with normal broly form. Huge difference and i like that kind of realistic look.

BTW, Baki is the best manga for me because its realistic. Ok, no one can be strong like them, but if we could, our physic would look just like them and we would be ugly and look bad ass like most of them.

Now, take usual asian mmorpg, usual asian manga's, usual games. Their woman look like their come from playboy, but for asians. Thats how asian sell their stuff? Usually, they are all half naked with huge breasts. (Take ivy for example or the ninja gaiden bitches from sigma 2) And i cannot get pass the faq that the big eyes art, they took that idea from walldisney Animals, but they put it on humans instead.

Im also sick of the none existance hair colours. I know, they are jalous because they only got 1 hair colour and its black. well,Baki, dragon ball, berserk, Kensitro and some others are some of the manga's i respect the most because the look of their characters are the most realistic that fit well with how strong their characters are. I can say that i respect naruto too because they did not abuse. I mean, the only one i remember with a none existance hair colour is sakura and it fit pretty well with her.

As usual Ephimero is spot on, I would also like to know where are these features the OP talks about, as far as I know there isnt a list out yet, we dont know the details all we know is a bit of core mechanics and they already look awesome to me it looks like a right implementation of what funcom wanted to do with AoC, everything else is not announced, pvp? territorial control? Castle sieges? Quests? Grind? Flying pink badgers?

Let me start by saying that real life is the hugest grind ever, but the rewards are great. Second, if i play a game that is a part of my life, i dont want to grind too much in it to then lose my primary life and instead, getting a second life.

I rather play an EU mmorpg and its darkfall online, but thx for the suggestion.

For starters AION is pretty ,TERA will have good quality graphics ,there is a big difference.

As far as features go what has not been uniquely created by Square Enix has already been done in the Everquest series ,so when talking features,ALL games take a back seat,to these two games.

Tera is trying to put a twist on combat witch is a good thing,at least it is not a step backwards.The animations is something Asian games have done extremely poor ,so to see one of their games improve it is another step forward.

Do i think Tera will have a lot of features?No probably not,but like i said ,other games have not created anything unique since EQ2/FFXI either so give them a small break.

It is a little premature to bash Tera for lack of features just yet,they have a lot of time to shore up the game,so again give them a chance to finish the product.These are former NCSOFT employees,so yes we can perhaps expect most of the same features,but if they can create a game that is about fun/creative combat and not be reliant on RMT activity,it can give a breathe of fresh air to  Korean game design.

If all people care  is about large sieges and how loot is dropped,then you will always be disappointed.For one just want fun combat,if i have to kill otehr players ,so be it,but i prefer PVE,but like i said ,as long as it has some unique and creative design to it.

I for one am not a PVP fan by any stretch,but if a game such as TERA can put some creativity and great animations into the combat ,i am in for at least a purchase and look see :D
