Well, with such amazing examples supporting your claim how can I not follow your sage advice?

Sorry, I was planning on editing in the details when I had some free time.

• Controls are "whacked". (But, there is jumping! Not that it is used for anything in this game.)

• Camera was just horrid, did not feel natural at all. This was the HUGE reason why I bothered writing this. Moving and turning was just annoying.

• There is hardly any character customization. This may or may not be understandable, I know games like Priston Tale did not have much customization either.

• Music was just so repetitious, was not calming or ambient, it really was much more like going on a grand crusade against spiders.

• Ranged classes, I feel sorry for you. If you're in the middle of attacking an enemy, and they are exactly far as your max range allows; you will shoot, but it will not do anything.

• Keeping track of quests was not very user-friendly.

• The graphics were the only positive feature, very much like Lineage 2 graphics, but effects sadly were not.

Now, let me just lay some things down, I do understand that it is in the phases of beta, but something tells me that much will not change . . . It is not up for me to decide whether or not anyone would want to play this, because I know thousands will since it is a new MMO. I am just telling it how it is based on my experience with CBT.

Summary:

Karos Online is just another foreign MMO where it lures you in because of the pretty graphics, then proclaims the many questionable feats they had with different publishers / countries. Then you find yourself asking, "Why."

Jumping is horrible I will agree with, I liked all other  controls just fine.

• Camera was just horrid, did not feel natural at all. This was the HUGE reason why I bothered writing this. Moving and turning was just annoying.

Agreed hope they work on it.

My personal biggest issue. Again hopefully they do something about it before game goes live.  Maybe they plan to sell all that in the item mall in order to keep game balance with cosmetics only? Hahaha...yeah right  wishful thinking on my part.

Music is horrible, Take any soundtrack from any no name generic dollar bin  fantasy game for the ps2 and you have about the same quality.

• Ranged classes, I feel sorry for you. If you're in the middle of attacking an enemy, and they are exactly far as your max range allows; you will shoot, but it will not do anything.

Don't know anything about this.

• Keeping track of quests was not very user-friendly.

Personally I found the quest tracking system ok. It may not be perfect but it more than does its job just fine.

• The graphics were the only positive feature, very much like Lineage 2 graphics, but effects sadly were not.

Graphics were very good for a F2P

Good comment. Agree with most of what you said. My biggest beef with the game personally is customization, and horrible music most of all. I can't enjoy a game I don't like to look at or listen to... Opinions will be different though some people love Korean grinders.

Heh, i cant really say anything else about the cbt, because you've pretty much sumed up my experience as well.

That and the client just would not stop crashing on me at login. But thatll be fixed obviously.

Just a bit of clarity.... If the game had some more customization options, more classes to pick from, and maybe a tad more variety in its quests. It would be a decent F2P game. As it stands it can fall right into the hole with all the other F2P no name grinders like Cabal, World of kung fu and 2 Moons. I would consider this in that playing field.
