Lowbies look like hobo's. Basically you are scavenging for armour and equipment.  The higher level people I have seen have that Mad Max look.

That made me chuckle. ^^ Well, if it helps you, you can get a top hat very early on. Even though you'll then look like a hobo who found a top hat. :P Now, you start as a lowly clone who doesn't know much, doesn't have much, and if you are into crafting, you will also sift through trash, junk, refuse and corpses in the hopes of finding something useful. No matter you look that bad. :) Today I finished a new armor for my char (forgot the name, called something like "civilian somethingsomething armor" for armor use 75 or whatnot), and it already looks like it is in use since a decade, with the stuffing coming out here and there. But I like that somehow. At least the helmet I made looks like new. :)

I guess on higher levels you will find stuff that looks a bit more powerful, but maybe not. I don't know and I want to find that out by myself. :)

If anyone is needing weapons crafted, send me a note in game with what you need.  I am sitting at 90 in ballistics and science right now.  If your looking for an ATV, Bike or buggy.. as long as you supply the mats.. I'll put it together.

Most screen and tube vids show lowbies. As you level up your appearance and armor look a lot better and you can personalize a lot of it.

Heh, I just have to point out the irony in that! :))

But yeah, it's never too soon for getting rid of the Lifenet outfit, in my opinion. Even the lowbie "hobo" clothes, as one poster put it, felt better.

I also have a tendency to keep the good-looking low level outfit in the barter vaults, not being able to throw them away. I have no idea why :)
