The team at NetDevil kicks off a new exclusive screenshot series with us today, providing us with two new images from the upcoming MMO.

Let me recap on information from NetDevil since the game was supposed to launch (months ago)

- News on the beta? No

- News on the release date? No

- Concise information on in-game systems (squad management, market place, etc )? No

- Screenshots that look pretty but tell us nothing about the game? Yes, yes, yes!

Is this game still actively being developed or has netdevil diverted all resources to their lego MMO?

Are they taking pre-orders? The answer to that will provide much insight.

What the hell has happened to this game?  There was months and months ago about it, and nothing for ages and now we get screenshots showing us crap like always.  Why do we want beauty pass rendred screenshots?

Im guessing they have moved to LEGO universe.  I been getting a few emails about that recently.

there maybe some innovation in this title.. 4/10 !

I have a strong feeling this game has been put in the freezer long time ago and they are just leeching info now and then to keep the hype (haha!) alive.

Quite frankly I feel the same. However, for those of us who haven't quite given up hope yet. I recommend monitoring Facebook for info (http://www.facebook.com/jumpgateevolution). The latest post has the same gripes we all do (when the @#%^ are you releasing?? going to beta?? SOMETHING??) and answering comments from the CEO:

Sounds like the same canned executive answers,  but at least we know the game isn't completely dead.

Looking forward to this game. You get the impression they've gotten the funding needed to extend development for a more polished product. This is really good news to me, as I'm tired of products being rushed out the door. Had it actually been released this year it would have been a joke. It's time that developers started focusing on making the game rather than hyping it. At any rate I'm glad they've stopped coming out with dumb predictions on beta and release dates.

What is it with devs lately, using facebook and twitter like chatty schoolgirls, instead communicating like the professionals we kinda hope they are?

I have seen a couple of stores taking pre-orders for a 29 Jan 2010 release.

This kind of behaviour annoys me. What's wrong with using the official site? I don't want to have to go on a completely different site to find news about Jumpgate, Diablo 3 or whatever game I'm checking up on. Consolidate your own news on your site rather than spreading it around on 3 different sites. I will check the official site, but I don't want to bother with also having to check Facebook and Twitter, or whatever else they might think is "cool", because it isn't.

Delay, Delay Delay, thats all we hear.  I am losing interest as well as patience.  The same goes with allot of my friends. We are moving on.

This game will probably be released sometime in late 2010.  By that time, most people will be playing other games.

Have we even seen the cockpit yet?  Hell no.  Oh wait, they are still working on it.  My bad. 

I like how they consider these exclusive screenshot as some kind of gift.

oh exclusive random pictures? just for us..? yay!

It doesn;t even show any actual gameplay shots, just random action shots with no hud, taken from dramatic positions.

I am just getting tired of all the little cookies they are putting out, nothing substantial.
