Most of my game subs run out this monday, and in the past month ive literally finished up playing all free to play games [took me about 2.5years] and ive been checking out trials for other p2p games i havent played too. I always recommended this game to people just by reading up on it but actually never had the chance to try it first hand, i think i was saving all the good free games [at the time ryzom was free] to test out later and go through bad games fast and well by the time i got back to ryzom it had started its monthly plan and well i was kind of too lazy to check out the trial and i was already subbed to other games. So yeh long story short, ill be checking this game out in the coming week cuz seriously now im just exhausted by themeparks. Hope to see ya guys in game! |

Why would I play a pathetic themepark MMO when I could enjoy a masterpiece like Mass Effect, Oblivion, Fallout 3 and Dragon Age? |

I last logged in for a look see a couple of months back, during peak time and there were around 6 ppl online across 4 major lands that I visited. There were dust devils blowing past the stables in Dyron and Pyr was crumbling. I can't even log in now since they have switched billing on, in fact my account seems to have dissappeared completely. Come play Darkfall Instead :)

6 people? Dude, I love Darkfall also but did you really need to troll Ryzom? Here's my Opinion, Both games rock if You want a great pvp experience play DF if you want a great pve experience play Ryzom. I play both and they both kick the shit out of any themepark released the last 6 years. Sandbox fans should stick together not shit on eachothers games. Why would I play a pathetic themepark MMO when I could enjoy a masterpiece like Mass Effect, Oblivion, Fallout 3 and Dragon Age? |

There are several folks who are really cool and will go out of their way to help you complete a mission and on two occasions people have given me a complete set of equipment for free. There does seem to be some underlying current though, that if you point to any of the weaknesses of the game in the game or on these forums, some of the population will be very angered by it. |

You´re right. But let´s be honest, isn´t this the case in every single game board on the net? And I must say, even in his own "special way" of saying it, Metalhead is right with his last post here. It´s not OK for people who carter to the same genre, to bash each others Games and opinions. It´d be even better if he himself remembered this from time to time, eh? Critique is allowed, everyone is entitled to his or her own opinion, as long as its stated in a civil and normal manner.

It seems that there is a special sensitivity among some Ryzom players because the population of the game is low and the game has a checkered history. Not all the players are like that, but I've noticed a heightened defensiveness and aggression with some of its players. |

This. That population is spread across three servers too. I'm not usually on during peak hours, so some nights I can be the only one in a zone. Other nights it's hopping. Current: Ryzom, DFO |
