Lets see finding out my girlfriend cheated on me twice, finding out my dad ran over my cat I owned of 10 years, my job having to garnish my wages. See this is what happens when you leave online gaming and go into the real world. Real World=Bad Online World=fairly bad but at least you can ram a sword into someones face to make the pain go away. AS for the 8.7 Aion score there is already a long long thread on that, but to condense that down a bit, general conculsions are. 1....WAY WAY to high its a polished turd. 2.... Reviewer is not only paid, but is mostly likely NCsoft,s bitch or they are holding his family for ransom. 3.... 7.8ish would of been a good fair score. 4....8.7 it should of been 11 as it a WOW killer and ive named my first born Aion. 5... OMG OMG Aion like Rulez, And WOW is ded and PVP ROks I,m lvl 439 and I got wood.
I went number 3 with a side order of 2 and does Aion come with rice.

Like your GF slept with the reviewer just to make sure the game got a high score. Being able to choose the skills you want to use, offers much less variety than pre-made class based systems. -Future Game Developer |

normally you can quit only after lvl 18 ....some stay til late 20ies |

7.8 is being generious, it'd get a 9 from me for graphics, and 8 for music. but, Gameplay rates about a 5. and fun factor is a 4. Aion is honestly nothing more than another korean grindfest mmorpg that just looks pretty. It gets boring extremly fast 20+. My friend is 34 and can't stand logging in for more than 5-10 mins because he starts to fall asleep with how overly repetive the game is, I'm a 22 templar myself, I have little downtime but its boring killing things over and over. Most quests 20+ are a waste of time. unless its a quest where the hand in point is right near where your grinding at, otherwise with the travel time needed you could have just grinded more exp.
Traveling.. this is another issue, what the hell is a point to a flying system if you can never use it? Sure in the abyss and in towns, and you can glide but really.. Running on foot when some random quest or something sends you halfway across the zone and no nearby flight path gets annoying without a mount of some kind or some other way to fast travel. All in all after the month included in the game I'll be looking for a new mmo. I reallly should have bough fallen earth, at least it had some uniqueness to it, and doesn't feel like a MMORPG from 10 years ago rehashed with better graphics and worse gameplay. |
