This one is easy. AoC

Played both for quite some time and I'd have to go AoC all the way. Love AoC's art and setting and the soundtrack imo is hands down the best in an MMO. Had a lot of fun in Doorhammer for a month or so but after spending countless hours pounding on keep doors on underpopulated servers and being blasted by OP'd AOE I shelved the game. With WAR it just seemed like a mad race to get to tier 4 RVR because at least there you knew there would be things going on. In my experience tiers 2 and 3 were always empty except for maybe a few hours each day. |

I would go for AOC basicly cause WAR didn`t fixed some issues since beta (server stability .lag ........stucking into absolutly anything) I like the game, lore all but no t4 content expt running for some rnvn one zone after another 2-3 dungeons which are bugged beyind beleief and list goes on and on...... AOC (playing it right now ):Funcom wrealy and I didn`t mean that I will say that in my life has improved game alot since it release game is more optimized than before small or no lag at all world it self is wrealy nice much solo content and grouping quests/instancing down of AOC for me is that you don`t have sides there are no we are good and they are bad but I`ve spoke to the people and they say that is the way it should be so have either way I like both games will keep my eye on WAR but Aoc is just more apealing for me right now. |

I'd choose Age of Conan, without a doubt. |

I'd rather play Ninja vs Pirates dodge ball on Wii than either. Stop whining and login so I can kill you! |

Still playing Age of Conan! -- |

While i liked both, if i had to choose id say AoC just for the pve The following statement is false |

In theory practise and theory are the same but in practise they''re not. |
WAR is out of the question :S Playing: Nothing |

AoC of course |

I'd pick WAR, that game at least kept my attention for 2 months. AOC on the other hand, I played for 3 days and uninstalled it. I guess I'm just not a big enough Conan fan.Everyone said the first 20 levels were awesome and then it went downhill, I thought the first part of the game sucked. Maybe I should have gotten past 20 maybe I might like what everyone else hated. lol

if there were only those 2, then maybe AoC, just because i didn't play past trial. i so wanted to play WAR, but it just isn't epic enough. after one month, there was no depth to the game. in all honesty, i would probably go back to WoW before either of those. |

IMO AoC is the best game out right now and only getting better, to bad the community is horrid. Godz of War I call Thee |

community is horrid every game in someway always, i would pick warhammer also. |

No contest really, AoC. WAR was fun but really shallow and small, similar to WoW without really hitting that WoW feeling. AoC launched in rough shape technically and top content wise. Both are long since resolved and content keeps coming. About the only reason not to play AoC is not liking the combat system which can be high input for some people. Fighting and typing, not really possible and without in game voice its hard outside of guild vent channels to talk to people in combat. I on the other hand am an MMO collector of sorts, so I'm in Aion despite really not liking my beta time. Bah only $50 and the box is metal ohh ahh ;) |

Played both, enjoyed both. But I'd say WAR - I can't comment too much on AOC as I haven't played for months, but when I left it it was just too incomplete. At least WAR feels somewhat like a full game. I do love AOC's gore though. :P |

I'm not a vegetarian because I love animals, but because I hate plants. |
Just going to go straight out and say Warhammer, that's just me though. I disliked AoC on launch and never really went back though. Not that I'd play either if I had the choice. I'm just waiting for the perfect MMO to descend from heaven and lead us all to the holy land. On a totally different note, how cool would an Elder Scrolls MMO be, or a Bioshock MMO. |

Suicide... but if you're really forcing me to choose... WAR. |

Don't like the PvP in AoC. I think it feels messy and really not fun. For this reason I'd choose WAR 100% of the time over AoC. |

WAR has the better management but not the better game sadly. AOC as there is no other like it. |

Better management ! Maybe in the US but in the EU GOA is just terrible, they are one of the main reasons i left the game as they organised character transfers that left two of my chars on an empty server with no option to transfer off! Something a primary school student could plan and execute easily. Even now ppls are still complaining about GOA on their offical forums here and here Currently playing WoW. |

You can get more with a kind word & a 2x4 than you can with just a kind word |
Played both, both were really quite boring to me. If those were my only choices, I'd play my Xbox instead. The ability to speak (or type) does not make you intelligent. |
|
I like both games, but AoC has a special place in my heart. |
|

They are both souless games, they get tedious pretty quickly. |

WAR. I just like the classes better. Since, I do have a choice I choose neither. Even if they were free I wouldn't play. |

It would really depend on my mood, because both games are good, but for different reasons. AoC- If I felt more in the mood for a good PvE experience, I'd probably choose this game. I like the graphics and the combat, but have never made it past lvl 20. It'd be something new to play PvE wise and boasts some good dungeons later on. This game has PvP and some cool concepts for it, which I would love to play, but it seems to happen later in the game. WAR- The PvE is okay, but I'd play it mainly for the PvP. It's fun creating a class and entering PvP 10 seconds after your character loads up. It doesn't matter that you're level 1, because you'll level up soon enough through PvP and get gear from PvP merchants. However, the fun from PvP wears off after about a week or two for me. I just want to say that I'm not saying one game is better or worse at PvP or PvE, I just would play them for those reasons. |
