You'll right if you thought "what? atlantica online in europe?". It's the lauch of the european atlantica online. Much better ping BUT it's in German. NDOORS said that they'll try for the future to make more clients for different languages but for now it seems it's the only one in Europe. Your NODDORS usernames work in germany too but you must activate them on their website. Start of the open beta is the 21st of October at 6PM (CET). it's a different client (older than the USA version) and on the official site there was no mention of the Janisary nor the B class mercs.

Come on... Give me a break!

Why would anyone play an older version? Especially since the current pings from europe aren't bad at all.

Because everyone starts from scratch, because you have the chance to get the chain saw merc with all the others, because you can pay the item mall stuff in EURO, because you don't need the updated version  (except for those who loved musicians and now don't get it from the start) for the first 95 levels of the game, because lag will be near to 0 (yes! i had lag even if i'm in a country in which the general internet connection is in the top10 in the world according to a survey last week), because you (i especialy) have the chance to exercise your german language skills, because i wanted to start over and needed a reason :p .

I'm still not entirely convinced, but who cares, right? Whatever floats your boat :).

Hmmm, I would think it would be better for you guys to pay in Dollars. Isn't it pretty much worthless compared to the Euro? Like 1 Euro = $1.50, and the dollar is only going to get weaker and weaker and weaker and weaker.

Knowing NDoors, they'll probably end up having the item mall be the same, but convert dollars to euros 1:1.  Like 30 euros buys 3000 gcoins, instead of the exchange rate, which would be what, 20 euros = 3000 gcoins. But a year from now, probably be 1 Euro = $2.
