So, I have a level 26 sorcerer, and I'm kind of confused, what else is there to do when I don't feel like leveling aside from professions.  From what I can tell its not much, and it's kind of turning me off... Any help?

That was pretty much unhelpful.  I only normally play like 1-2 hours a day, and on weekends its only a few more hours a day than that, and I dont even play every day.  Go annoy someone else.

Ok ok, sorry mate, i was just joking...

Well, i dont know, pretty much what you do in every other game, if you are into RP try to find a nice RP guild, if not the only thing that you have left is spend some time chatting with guildies or just exploring the game, its citys, zones etc.

Im not really sure what to tell you because im certain you've played other games before and i dont think there could be much more to it

Well, from level30 and up you can start doing more group content.

And supposely you should group from level30-50 the entire time.  Because the reality is you gain level faster in group.

PvP in abyss, kill lowbies once you go thr rift.  Basically, find group and have interaction with others.  Otherwise you are just playing Single player game, why even pay for that $15 per month?

Don't you ever play other MMO like WOW, AOC, or War?  Farm money, farm gears, and PvP, that's it.  Otherwise go to play EVE, so you can watch TV and play at the same time.

Thats unfortunate.  Leveling is pretty boring at this point.

Ok are you serious? Or is this a joke or what? Hmm let me see what is there to do besides leveling or crafting in ANY game in the whole fraking world, hmmmm not much. That is pretty much 99% of every game ever written. So not only is your question rhetorical, its either flame bait or just annoying. I am so sick of people posting obvious flame bait questions. Get a life, do something along your level like watch grass grow. I'm not a person to normally be a smartass but jesus dude, that had to be one of the most ignorant questions I've ever heard anyone ask. You want us to tell you how to play your game? Read the manual. Uh read the forums. Read something. Role play, craft something, explore, whatever. Do something besides ask stupid questions you don't really want a answer to. if leveling is boring then there is nothing for you to do.  You should just cancel the account.  Don't waste your money.

Really? Its amazing how well you know me, considering I don't normally post and you haven't met me before.  And exploring in Aion is a joke, its non existant.  I'm not asking people to play for me, or tell me how to play, I'm asking for suggestions, obviously.  And no its not a flame bait, I like the game, I have the collectors edition, I tell my friends its a cool game.  I dont want to just argue, otherwise I would have posted against everyone else here.

And yea I probably will cancel my account.  Not because the game is bad but because it doesnt fit me.  No reason to sit here and flame and act like you know fully what your talking about.

Well, first of, start doing quests in Abyss, it should give you a good feeling knowing that the enemies can attack you at anytime, or you can do that :)

Secondly, watch the timing from Fortress Sieges. I believe is going for like 1 hour, but hell, you will have a good time PvPing or/and also trying to conquer/defend a Fortress.

At your lvl, you will start doing the Abyss lvl 25 Instance, which should go for no more then 1 h, which I find it different then the normal leveling.

Also, you can form a group and start looking for Asmos in Abyss. This is what i often do when I am bored from doing quests.

Beside this, if you still can't having fun, them I am afraid you need to move over. But I would love to hear a game which you can do other and better things then in Aion at your lvl and not only :)

I am 35 Sorc too , and I am enjoying it alot.

Plenty of fluff in the game.  Just as much as any other MMO I have played.  Heck, with all the fluff packed in between your ears one would think you would be able to spot fluff a mile away.

You can make new accounts and sit around blocking spammers.

Or you can mine Aether till you want to /wrist.

From what I hear, the main 'fun' things you can do in Aion are level, Abyss, and siege.

You can exploring in Aion.  Just not your realm, you can go to explore other realm depends on which side you play, that's exciting and deadly, you can even farm their bosses to KS the loot.

The complete lack of decent answers to his question above shows ... that the sole goal of "doing levels" in an mmorpg is proof we are talking of a 6 year old game mechanic with good avatar graphics.
The only goal in a present day mmorpg should NEVER be based on gaining levels by killing monsters mindlessly.
You don't adventure in Aion apparently, you just ... gain levels in a narrow closed world.
Never heard of minigames, never heard of leveling through PvP, changing worlds by doing quests, personal ladder based PvP ratings and/ or achievements.
It is ... Korean: you just gain ... levels (very very slowly). grtz.
expect 13 Korean in a dozen to appear in the next 2 years...
 It is quite easy to make: you set a level cap of 60.000.000 points per level and give 20K points per animal kill. You do the count and assure people have to play 12 hours for one level.
Now repeat and gosub ... repeat.

In my opinion, the world changes from capturing forts and artifacts in the abyss are more world changing than the phasing in WoW. ( Reason, because it can constantly change hands and determines which side pays more for goods along with denying one side having a set of instances available to them. )

The phasing is an artificial change since it *GASP* only happens for you when you do certain quests and not the whole server the instant it is done. ( Not world changing at all in my opinion. )
Also, Ladder Pvp --> Aion has this; it’s called pvp ranks and can change constantly.

Also, Zorn can I have the link to your main’s armory. Just want to see how awesome you are anyway. :D

What do you do in other mmo's when you aren't at level cap besides leveling or crafting (or pvping)? I'm not sure I understand what you want here.

The same thing you do in any mmorpg. PvP, craft, rp (if that's your thing), help guildies, etc.
