Hello everyone, I just started playing the LOTRO 14 day trial on the European server. I did some Google research and I couldn't find a definate answer to my questions, so here I am asking you. I hope someone can answer.

1. I'm wondering about the trial limitations. I read about not being able to whisper and use Auction House, but that was about it. This was related to the 10 day trial so that would make the information even more unreliable.  So could you European players tell me about the limitations of the trial I'm playing at the moment? I'm planning to play as much as I can during those 14 days, but if there is a level cap, or no professions, or whatever they came up with, I will have to start consider subscribing with less information than I original planned on having.

2. I'm currently playing on the English Role Playing server Laurelin. I have been playing around 1h30m at the moment and I have only seen 2 people walk past me and no global chat whatsoever. I'm wondering if the trial limitation is blocking me from chats or could it be the server is deserted (meaning I should switch right away)? Any insight on that would be splendid.

3. I downloaded the client around 9GB big. Do I have the full game now? Meaning if I subscribe I can just continue with all the content to my disposal?
Also, this is me being lazy, sorry, but I'm writing this anyway, how much would a full subscription cost (all the content and a month's playtime) in euro's?

Any answers would really be appreciated! I'm having a lot of fun at the moment and decided to take the advice from you guys written in other threads to not rush to the level cap, but just enjoy leveling and play the game casually to prevent the well known MMO-burn.

Cant answer the trial related question but when I play the population and server chat can be very quiet - you have to remember that the area is huge though and it gets a lot busier at the higher end. The secret to LOTRO imo is to find a good guild. Guild chat is typically very high whlist general is almost dead.

Good luck

Ok hi

Do you have the full game well yes and no.

You have the game including expansion mines of moria but........you would have to purchase the keys  that is either the 2 games retail or in a pack or digital download. But you would not have to download anything else.

If you purchased the keys you would be ready to play and carry on were you left off. Your char will be waiting for you

You cant initiate whispers but you can reply to someone whispering to you (if they are not on trial) and if they group you then you can group even if the leave the group you and any other trial members would still be grouped.

Lotro follows same format in trials as WOW and most other successful on-line games:

cant party, cant level beyond 20, cant use Auction house, cant trade with others, cant  receive in game mail.

Any level you attain and any craft level you attain including all goods you have will be there for you when you purchase full player membership.

If I missed anything sorry.

I have played WOW and LOTRO from beta but I also played both games Trails so I know all of this to be true

If you choose to purchase full membership the game has best most helpful community in any online game. Of course we all know WOW has worst although it is a good game too

R.P servers dont tend to be as greatly populated as no R.P but.......most people have alts so some should be still about. Most high levels are in the high level areas as they are in all games.

LOTRO is a highly populated game in the starter areas (no insult in tended) there will be fewer people though this is not the norm. Anything else you wish to know ask
