I can't post this on the Official Forums because I'm currently not subscribed, I'm just planning to head back in. Why have half of the servers been offline for the last 10 hours? Extended maintenance? Thanks. |

The Oceanic servers have been merged with the North American servers. Their only down to 6 servers now, with a couple more mergers needed soon. Dark Crag's Order population is pretty much non-exsistant now. Phoenix Throne is dead on both sides, and if i remember right Volkmar's Destruction population is dieing off. So your gonna have to transfer you characters to one of NA servers, or just start on one of the few NA left. I suggest Badlands or Gorfang and Iron Rock in a close third, if you decide to come back. If you haven't been subed for a few month's you should be eligible for a free 10 day's on your account. |

The game's population is very low. There is 6 servers now, and in all honesty there needs to be only 2 for the remaining players to have fun. Scenerios don't pop anymore so don't expect it. |

Pretty much same in Europe - Down to just 3 English speaking servers (KEP is dead) and they are showing medium loads at peak times. The region servers are pretty much empty - some ppl still on German servers tho. It seems like WAR will be 2 server game in Europe. One for destruction - one for order. Just make sure you end up on the right server ! |

It's still a fun game and getting better but it was sold as the second coming and it doesn't measure up to that... ...also "hell hath no fury like a fanboi scorned" or something to that effect... |

i play on badland and its actually quite fun, sc pop and rvr are active. Dont about other server. I personally dont think this game gonna die but people who said so dont help it either. But since all forum are raped by trolls, they's nothing we can do.

I'm also getting a lot of activity on Iron Rock (I think that's what the server is called ...), still wish there was at least one Australian server left though. |

I play Destruction on Dark Crag and I spend long hours not seeing anyone. Every few days though I see some RVR action but most of the game zones are absolutely dead. The cities will have a few players but still very very few. I remember visitng The Inevitable city a few days ago and saw no more than 8 people. It is sad how barren and lonely this game is. really? I read on Mythic Forum, everyone seems happy for up coming new patch and said "Aion is crap" etc etc. Are you sure there is no population? |

Mmmm, you'll find activity on some forums but population drops and mergers tend to have an impact on the social aspect of the game, also keep in mind that most people remaining in game actually play rather than troll forums ;) Like I'll do as soon the phone conference I'm on is over... |

People that are used to posting on forums find time to post, regardless of whether they have a game to play. It'll just be at the beginning or end of their gaming sessions, unless they play windowed or fullscreen windowed. I do love how people always like to speak for this 'silent' majority though, it's quite amusing.
