So to get this quest, you have to level up 5 alts to 30 to complete the armor quest that many times to complete the set for 1 character, then you get the weapon quest.  Seriously?  Wow, just wow.

No, you have not. The full quest chain is not in game yet. To lvl 5 alts is just a way some guys discovered to be able to get the full set, that is not the way its meant to work. it will probably be brought tin game in the next patch the full chain.

Even if you had to level 5 characters to get the full set I find this awesome. How many games actually make you work for gear? I'm pretty sure these lvl 30 items arnt the best in the game but they add options of obtaining gear by playing the game something you're already doing. So again I don't see the problem even if they never add the entire quest chain.

 They will add the whole quest chain, and better yet, in lvl 50 theres a similar chain to obtain an "epic" quality set. Only with our own effort by doing some long and hard quests =)

Epic gear belongs to epic players imo.

WoWtards will obviously have a problem with that.

I know about the level 50 chain and have no problem with it, and if what you say is correct in that the level 30 quest is also supposed to receive a chain quest then that is great.  I just didn't like the idea of having to make alts to complete it since I do not make alts and only stay with one character typically.  So you are positive that a chain is supposed to be added at some point?

Or does it makes sense to you to make everyone do another 4 alts to collect all the 5 pieces, plus, the rewards are auto selected according to class, not only did you had to make 4 alts but they would have to be the same class as your main...

Its clear after delivering the first quest and getting your item that it suddenly breaks there, and that in the near future the next quests will be placed.

You even have the option to collect another quest of another chain that follows, thats asks you to own the 5 pieces to be able to start it.

go away troll have you even played the game ?  SO much content at 30 for each race its amazing.  From 29-38 you got fire temple which is like Diablo 2 MF runs on Mephesto lol you do it over and over hoping a gold item drops but you will get decent XP during it.

No it doesnt lack content, it just has 1 or 2 quest chains incomplete. Much like WoW, that stood 4 years with the king of stormwind disapearance quest chain incomplete.

Yes, the rest of the quest is being added. It's blue armor, and at that level, it IS best in game pretty much.

Pretty much all the games make you work for gear.  The difference is which games allow you to work for gear solo or in 5 man groups through questing?  Now which games force you to join ridiculous sized huge raids, force your character to spend tons of money only obtainable through farming, forcing the player to repeatedly play the same dungeon over and over, and farm super bosses over and over?

The way you talk about working for gear has nothing to do with playing a game anymore, but playing a job. You are just easy prey for the run-of-the-mill grindy MMO's. One of the delusional players who embraces shallow and repetitive gameplay and thinks that this is how it should be.

Its already clear that the OP is misinformed and took an unintended workaround for intended gameplay. No company would make this kind of silly requirement for an armourset. But I find it astonishing that there are even ppl who would accept even this lol.

No, you do have to complete the armors before you can get the weapon quest.

So I did some more research and this quest is currently as it is intended.  It does not need to be finished, they actually intended it to be that you must level 5 characters to 30 to get the full armor set, then receive the weapon quest.  The level 50 Daevonian armor and weapon quest chain is GIGANTIC but that's no big deal, you should have to work for your gear and weapon.  BUT, the level 50 one you can do all on your one character.  There is no reason to make someone level 5 toons for the level 30 gear that you can only use on 1 character, it just promotes botting.  They should just change it to another gigantic quest chain.
