They have a link to the beta download right here : http://www.mortalonline.com/downloadbeta I'm guessing you still need a beta invite with special login info for it to work though, right? Anyone know?  Why do I write, create, fantasize, dream and daydream about other worlds? Because I hate what humanity does with this one.

Yeah it's not very clear and the FACTS seem to have eluded me... and I really don't want to download the whole thing all for nothing. If it were Open Beta I'd be happy to help / try MO but... no idea what the deal really is atm. Why do I write, create, fantasize, dream and daydream about other worlds? Because I hate what humanity does with this one.

It's not open beta and that is quite clear on the SV site. They have had beta sign ups before but currently it is closed beta for people that have pre-ordered or were in the previous betas. Open Beta anyway is just a marketing gimick to make some hype right before a game releases. It is not a beta it is a limited free to play preview in today's gaming world. |
