lol, um, gee this is a though one.

WoW hands down and you know it deep down.

This is a hard one. Aion is new so you'll have to ask me after I've been playing for a while. I play Aion the most, but who knows how I will feel when I hit higher levels.

Contra rules too. Forget about WoW vs Aion, the true poll should be about Arcanoid vs Contra

The only ones picking Aion are those who have already played wow for years and gotten tired of it.. There is no way Aion can be better then wow seeing how much money blizzard can and spends on it.

Lol... How much money someone spends on a product doesn't really determine it's quality. I'm also guessing by your post that you've never played Aion or given it a chance for that matter.

You also contradict yourself by saying that the only ones playing aion are the ones who are tired of wow... Well is WoW has "so much more money" and it's game is "so much better" because of that then why would people get tired of it? Why would people stop playing a "better" game for a new one?

BTW, these threads are retarded because wow has been around for years and while aion isn't even three weeks old.  I played aion til lvl28 before I set it aside.  it doesn't provide enough for me to say to myself "Aion or WoW", because having only played this game for 2 weeks I already have to force myself to even boot it up.  So, you can watch videos, screen shots, read fourms with polls like this all day long, or you could simply buy the game and see if that same exact hype is going to be enough to keep you glued for years the way wow has tortured us.  IMO, hell no. not even close.

I voted "Who cares?",  because...well, that's pretty self explanatory really.

tic tac toe gets me vote over either game!

To get a good representation for an X vs Y game, you would have to do the same poll on both forums.

Then add the percentages, not the nr of votes.

Just answer this question: How is WoW endgame not a grind?

How many times have you run the same raid over and over?

How many times have you run the arena over and over?

How many times have you done Dailies?

Now ask yourself:

How many times have i been a part of a large scale pvp battle with 60+ players to take fortresses? Is something like that fun? (yes)

Why is this grind getting complaints from people who have only played 1 other MMO, which is most likely WoW?

if you dont like some grind/hard work to get to the better parts of a game, dont play mmo's. WoW ruined the accomplishment of getting to the end level, and the proof to that is most people that have played for a while have not 1, not 2, but 3+ max level characters. to me that just shows that its easy to get the the ENDGAME GRIND THAT IS WOW.

It happens in WOW all of the time, mostly with double those figures. And the fact WOW players have 2 or 3 max level characters only shows their will to want to play the game with different classes.

I can uderstand you defend your game. But at the moment WOW has about quadriple gaming options and ten times the content.

So the discussion (and this thread) is useless.

He is right somewhat.  SOMETIMES how much money you put into anything can have a positive outcome, but it can very much go the opposite.  WoW has the money to put into the game, but because of all the content they've been putting in they've strayed away from their lore which has drawn away some people. 

For how long WoW has been out, it can't really draw in anymore people than it already has.  Even if they throw millions of dollars in to their product I doubt it'll have a positive outcome.

Look at all the other games that has come out by companies that have a decent amount of cash flow and they still have failures.  Those games do so bad that the companies try to put even MORE money into their product.  Just look at all the hate towards LFD2.

He was a little bit off with his numbers too. I was part of not 1 but 2 attemped fortress seiges were the asmo tried to take one the first time with around 400-500 people total, and then around 200 people the second time when the balaur took the fortress.

You said WOW has more gaming options well there you were right,but WOW has also had 5 years worth of add ons and exp., so again you are right it's a pointless conversation. If you want to truely compare both WOW and Aion then the only way to do it is after they are both no more that way it's an even comparison.
