I seem to have a problem at this moment. I keep on disconnecting. I'm really not sure why.... my internet is not bad. I play online games all the time, including many FPSers like team fortress and UT3, and when I played other MMO's I never had this problem. Is there something I'm missing? My internet, more specifically is advertised at 512 kbs. Is that just not fast enough to handle this game?

Its an ongoing problem NC knows about. I dc all the time in a busy city. I run ATI in cross fire and know NC has to fix it. so.......

Well, I just started the game. I'm level 4 in the starting area and I can't seem to stay online for more than 5-10 minutes. It's frustrating.

Wow,  you guys are so lucky. I've not yet been able to play the game and I preordered a long, long time ago.  I played through closed and open beta.  But after that, the game won't launch for me.  I've contacted the correct channels and they've had me do quite a number of things. I finally just gave up.  I hope that your problem gets solved soon.  As for me, I guess I'll just walk about until NCSoft decides to do away with whatever is holding up the people who can't access the game.  Never had this happen before, anyone know what it is that is giving such a headache to people whose launcher won't even launch the game?

What the hell man? Are you serious?  Have they given you any indication at all what the problem might be?  That's ridiculous if you still can't even actually play the game.

You have a better temper than me is all I can say.  I would be pissed as hell.

Its all over the internet.. I was having the same problem also. I have also given up and just accepted I paid 50 bucks for a pretty box.

All the slightly less than mature than Darkfail players and fanbot retards will tell you smart ass shit like the problem is between the keyboard and chair though.

Wow, that is just incredibly lame.  Well, doubt you're really in the spirit to play anymore, but I hope they fix your guys' problem soon.

I am definitely annoyed. But, what can I do, right?  The worse that I can do is ask for my money back and tell them to take back the game, but I still don't win.  I still can't play the game. Ha!  So, really no choice but to sit and wait.  I did e-mail them yesterday again, but it takes them forever to sort through all the e-mails to get to mine.  For some reason I don't seem to be at the top of their list for wanting to get straight to work on my problem (something about a line and first come first serve or some other policy like that) hehe!.  They probably look at the e-mail address and say "Oh, it's that guy again..."  Then they take a lunch break.

 Ive had this problem before too - usually happens in a big city or when I try to use a command when the game is "stalling" or on a loading screen. 

It doesn't happen quite as much as you (maybe 2-3 times in a few hours - max) but its annoying. Im pretty sure its a known issue - so Im not really all that concerned about it. Ya it bugs me at times but whatever - as a QA person myself I get it... and its still only 2 weeks after launch. Given how incredibly awesome this MMO's launch has been, and how receptive the company has been in ALL issues I've seen - starting with lag, SM flying pets, Failguard, even now, increased Quest XP - I am very confident it'll be fixed as soon as possible. Call me a fanboi or whatever you want, but they're backing themselves up pretty well. I don't really have to say much, what they've done when 'the sky was falling" is pretty spectatular. 

Ok, it seems time just cured this problem. I have not been disconnected for 40 minutes straight now.... and boy is this game fun lol. Not sure what the whole grinding problem people are having. I just kill mobs while blasting techno music. Truly the most fun one can have :)
