Oh well, It was bound to happen: A company satisfying the majority of its customers (aka QQers). I don't mind this change either way, but this is bound to lessen the QQs at least.

As I heard, this patch will be 1.5.x , so it should arrive sooner then we might though ;)

And yes, this is good news !

It was bound to happen with all the complaints, I just hate the fix. I am sick of games that only reward you for quest grinding. Why not give decent exp for mobs as well?

Are you even playing the game? You're geting very good xp from mobs too !

Really glad to see this. I still feel no grind am lvl 29 and have like 20/30 quest still to do.

The majority of the players are not bitching about the time it takes to level. Its the minority that is used to EZ mode mmo's that are complaining.

A nice sign at least level 35 now and leveling is really becoming tedious now with the lack of quests hopefully the xp for quests will help but it still doesnt seem like alot on that link , the qeue times and the leveling are really making me have second thoughts on playing the game in the future

agreed, the ones who keep telling us there's no second job type grind that makes you want to kill yourself after 5 hours, with only half a bar filled... are usually the ones not above 30 ;)

willing to buy quests which actually give out "half decent" XP, not just 3 mobs worth.

I did find it funny, someone posted 400 odd quests in the Abyss, i can tell you at 30, i've done all i could and that is 29 (including the instance quests).

total number of quests completed - 242, so far.

meh =/

 I dont care either way... sure its' nice if it'll stop the QQ threads - that alone makes it worthwhile

As I have mentioned before, my only major complaint about the game was that quests dry up at certain points. With higher exp rewards for the existing quests, I imagine this will be much less of an issue.

i love the game (34 sm) but my only complaint is the insane costs for spells for caster/healer. the GM of my legion is a templar his 31 spells cost like 112,000 mine at 31 was like 181,000. my 34s cost me 352,000, seems the spells are pretty much doubling per spell level. i don't mind the grind at all, i've played simular games that had much worse grinds in them. i've done hardly any quests after 25 and can go into the abyss, mainly so i can keep up with the costs of my spell books. white junk items sells for like 30,000 but they seem very few in drops, seem more like green name drop rate.

Of course there will be players at level cap by then. In most games, there are players at level cap within a few days of release. Although it is unfathomable to me, some people play for 12 hours or more a day.

But those players are certainly not the norm. The majority of players have much less time on there hands and will still not reach cap for a long time...

i'd rather they increased the XP... and decreased the rested XP amount... i think the original +20% is fine.

once you hit 30, and it gets to +30% XP from every mob... it feels kinda.. i dunno cheating. sorry.. i like an increase while rested but i don't want that... (made that.. umm WoW game a joke when it was 200%)

A quest increase is all i wanted.

 With this Aion's success is pretty much seacled. Its a question of how successful now. This sort of feedback based approach in development cannot fail, the speed at which they are reacting is pretty impressive when looking at there track record.

Seems they realized how great of a cash-cow Aion can be in the West.

I think they are just bringing things back into balance. Grinding is already the most efficient way to level. Grinding in the Abyss even more so. For questers, it has been a bit discouraging to have Quest XP rewards that in many cases weren't even equal to the XP from five kills!

Id be shocked if the NA servers got this update the Koreans did.

Lineage 2 Korea used to get all sorts of bonuses,events..hell  they even had "relaxed" server that NA never did.  I'll believe it when I see it here
