lol they try yep they do try ,the problem is ige,aka thottbot.com,aka zam.com ,aka wowhead.com etc etc etc all part of ige wich IS the biggest gold selling entity in usa ,they are so big everybody scared of them and dont do shit against them ,you name any website for gamer and 75% of the time ige (gold seller and ebayer)buy them their latest was zam.com if they havent baught or oppened a new one for their gold business so untill all of those game maker sue ige ,not much is going to happen on that front ip block wont cut it since lot of company offer proxy service |

I hope they can do something effective about the problem. The gold spamming is worse in Aion than in any other game I can remember. I log in and am immediately bombarded with at least 8 different spammers. If I switch to another chat tab, I get spammed via whisper. Its really out of control... |

What i have done to cut down on the Gold Spamers in Aion is when i log on first thing i do is start Blocking the spammers in the chat channel. With out doing that you cannot read anything in chat because of them. After doing that about 8 or so the chat channel opens up so you can read what others are saying. Must say it is very bad atm but its good to see they are at least trying. Spankthetoad |

I think they would probably need a full staff dedicated to kicking/banning gold farmers 24/7 in order to truly solve this problem. Either that, or start selling gold on the NcSoft website so these other companies can't compete. I am personally in favor of RMT and I think it might actually help with the horde of spammers we are dealing with currently. I know many of you do not agree with that particular idea... but I do think it would stop (or at least reduce) the problem. |

IP block will not help a single thing. It will only prevent legitimate players as all the gold spammers/gold sellers already have established proxies in the US with US IP. |
