If I live on the east coast, how significant would it be if i decided to play on a west coast server?

I'm not concerned about any lag or such, but i believe i read someplace that "events" take place at different times during the day.. I'd hate to join a west coast server, and have most sieges going on at 3am while i am sleeping.. Will it matter that much?

I'm a "middle-coast", Texas, and I have toons on an East coast and a toon on a West coast server. The west coast server for me runs smoother, less lag, and plays better than the east coast server. HOWEVER, the east coast server is MUCH more populated... by far.

"Granted thinking for yourself could be considered a timesink of shorter or longer duration depending on how smart..or how dumb you are."

 mm east coast pvpve ,time 7:00 pm

west coast= would start at 7 pm also but wt meaning raid would start at 10 pm eastern time and yes might finish at 2 or 3 in the morning eastern

wich would be midbnight western time for them so yes it make a big diff for a eastern player
