I've finally reached 20, and have managed to fight a couple Asmodians who rifted in. But I'm really hating how late you can start pvp. In Warhammer, AoC, you can pvp from level 1. Here I have to wait 5 more levels till I can get some good PvP in. They really should have opened things up earlier, because grinding out quests sucks.

 not a lot of pvpve yet and the one that do pvpve dont fight long in pvp

the guild origine have yet to meet foe ,oh they met asmo but the way the spoke it was more of a speed bump then an actual challenge

most that play aion arent pvp ready yet

Most classes are not fully developed for pvp at the early stages. The class I picked does not get good at pvp until around lvl30+ so I am in no hurry to enter that part of the game.

Really shocking how short peoples attention span are today... I think lvling to 20 went really fast. To 25, well it took a while. But if you really want there could be pretty much PvP at 20

 we can pvp at almost level 1 lol 

when we speak about pvp we mean 

the lower keep fight for control ,while raiding ,while being atttacked by balaur and the chance of being ganked by those guys that drop from ships 

thats what we talk about PVPVE

but i like it like that last game i played that had lvl 1 pvp was fury and 

it died as quick as it came

are the first to leave the game anyway 

That was the coolest thing about Warhammer.  Creating an alt, playing in the tier 1, and not having to worry about insane CC/Damage.  You just had fun. You had 2 to like 10 abilities, yet it was so much fun.

If a game is based around pvp like Aion is, I think it's silly to have no pvp till 20++++.

There will be a lot more asmo groups to pvp with prior to 25.

That's not why Warhammer failed. It's one of the few reasons people stuck with it as long as they did.

PvP from the start is a great feature, and I don't consider a game to be a 'PvP game' without it.

wait, you can PvP in AoC from level 1? its almost a single player game till level 20.

WAR pvp SUCKED.  I can count on one hand the amount of times I saw random, OPEN world pvp in that game.  Can you pvp in some useless wow-copied BG from level 1 ?  sure you can.  But, BGs are NOT pvp.  WAR devs put nothing into that game at all and it shows.  EQ2 has more world pvp at the early levels then WAR.  Seriously man, dont use WAR to make a point about how its a good game or had a good idea.  WAR was a pile of bad ideas, a horrible rush job.  AION is doing it right, letting players learn the game and preventing griefing of new players causing them to quit.  If you cant see that, then I cant help you. 

I played WAR at launch and the only pvp I saw levels 1-10 is a BG.  It was a big NEGATIVE for me.  I only play pvp games and WAR only delivered pvp in BGs or some forced, scripted RVR lakes, where players fought over nothing at all.

People! Dueling is cheap and lame, it is not real PVP.

Having to level to 25 just to experience pvp is lame while in WAR I can start messing players up from level 1. Whats the point of leveling to 25 to experience mass pvp?

I agree, I still keep my WAR account active just to do tier one battlegrounds from time to time...oops I mean scenarios.  In WAR I consider 12 the level cap because after tier 1 it starts to suck.    Anyways, my only gripe with Aion is that it does take too long to get to the pvp action, but it's worth the wait I guess.  Aion also seems to be quite a bit more challenging to quest than a lot of modern mmos, which makes it go by more smoothly, because it's fun.

My self , just hope they focus more on PVE rather than PVP , PVE in Aion is more fun.

I agree, I've found i need to smoke a bowl before aion pve is fun..

Prepare to be disappointed then.

I'm starting to believe more and more that the PvE in this game is NCSoft's attempt to try to get as much as the WoW crowd as possible.  Problem with that is most people playing (or will be playing in the future) won't be playing for the PvE content.

Perhaps they're trying to allow new players to have a feel of the game before dropping them into pvp. Games like AoC which drops you into a FREE FOR ALL pvp ground as soon as you enter (TORTAGE) becomes quite frustrating.
