I have quit MMO's for about 3 months now and looking to get back. I will reconsider playing any game as long as I am able to advance some by playing for a couple of hours on weekends or so. I have quite a beefy computer so I think it can handle any game. I have played:

Vanguard, Age of Conan, Everquest II, World of Warcraft, Dungeons & Dragons Online and a few more.

I do not mind paying a subscription as long as the game is good. Suggestions?

Darkfall and fallen earth arent quite casual, actually the opposite. Wow is probably the most casual game ive played, aion and everquest 2 seem pretty good too. Other games i havent played but read about being casual friendly are ryzom and DDO.

I was thinking Fallen Earth, might give that a look. Does it have a trial?

Im going back to Warhammer online after 1 year. Been seeing the progress the devs is making. Maybe this game will tank in future, but i always love it. So i dont mind havng fun now.

Now that they have solve alot of bugs issue, ive tried the trial and its smooth.

You may wana give it a try...

I would consider Fallen Earth casual. You can log on, gather some resources, queue them and log off. You've just made hours worth of progress with little effort. You also gain XP while crafting (if done correctly) so your character advances also. I'd definitely recommend it.

DDO is f2p, so I have installed even though I rarely play it. You can log in to the low level areas and run a few dungeons and log. Definitely casual there.

Really most games can be played casually at the beginning. It's the end game that requires the time investment.

i was about to say WoW

well WoW is not very casual, but it;s enough if you dont mind on the content, and if you love crafting and all, just chilling and doing quest ( PvE server recommended )

but you wont get far with the crafting without going to instances and killing bosses which drops better recipes

because in WoW, if you want to finish the content / Lore, you need to be a bit hardcore ( or even very )

although i can assure you, you will likely have problems with the community =P
