Whether it be solo or group PvP the Abyss is the best gaming experience i have ever had. No other PvP game comes close the fun of seeing a target and flying in for the kill, sometimes you win or sometimes you lose ... which is the price of battle. The mobs there garner more xp since there is greater risk in the Abyss, which is honestly a great idea. Whether it be questing of grinding mobs in Abyss your always looking over your shoulder for the enemy .. your always on your toes, i love it. The fortresses look amazing and i can't wait to capture them!

It's just too bad we have to go through 25 levels to get to the abyss, but, you're right, best damn PvP ever! |

Completely agree While I suck at it so far playing as a melee class, I still think it's pretty awesome. |

I hope you're right. I'm lvl 25 now but haven't finished my Abyss quest yet because I'm catching up on my crafting a bit beforehand. |

This is actually my last post on this MMORPG.com account as I can't post any more, and I think this is certainly a worthy enough subject.
Aion PVP is the first time in a long while that a video game has gotten my heart racing with excitement. It feels good. - |

I wouldnt say PvP is great right now. Although you can have decent group VS group rumbles from time to time 90% of the PvP so far is ganking. Maybe ganking is what u guys like, I honestly dont see the fun in killing someone 10 VS 1 ... We will have to wait till ppl gets to 40+ and see how the thing goes with sieging fortresses , but for now PvP in Aion is anything but fun 90% of the time . And before someone says I havent played the game I have a lvl 30 templar |

i saw one video of a french group taking on a keep there was no opposite faction so it was standard ulduard style tank and spank raid as for my class i level a chanter ,kind of remind me of a shaman in wow but way better in my view |

Greatest PvP ever ? How can that be possible if its the same play style as somany other mmos? The greatest pvp mmo of all time is EvE online you better recognize! EvEry ship and module in the game is made for a specific reason and theres are many many factors involed, dont get me wrong I like aion i have it i have 2 chars around lvl 18 I miss L2 style pvp ofcourse with alot less loss. I have not played in the abyss yet but looking at the upgrades and skills in aion it dosent seem like its a hardcore PvP game but its fun. |

ok the fench stream was solo because they are too early lol,they were lvl 35 some in the level 40 keep or sutch took them 1 hour 15 minute to take down the portal lol but this friday if they try to take the keep again i bet there will be an opposite faction competing to take down the raid and the balaur and the opposite faction so instead of 3 hour fight it will probably be a 5 hour fight tomorrow at level 40 |

Well you folks seem to be the one to ask this question of:.
Is PVP in Aion only is certain zones, like the Abyss spoken of? Or is it anywhere and in any zone? I played the open Beta for about 2 days and got a cleric to level 11, ascended got my wings then it ended. I have scoured the Aion (NA) website for a description of the pvp combat or a rule set and found none. I was moderately pleased with the game from a PVE standpoint ( like most others get quest kill "X" of this turn in rinse and repeat), I had talked myself out of buying it, but if it has PVP, I would probably change my mind.
If anyone can link me to the part of the Aion site that actually explains this or ell me how and where pvp happens I would much appreciate it.
