We live in the entertainment age. People live off reality TV and all MSM has fused reality with entertainment. The line between what is real factual news and shock drama to bring in rating$ is disappearing.

Yeah, I'm so lazy, without a click link, I don't even bother to look at the site.  Which is probably a good thing anyway.  Half of the time they come from the Huffington puffington post.

Believe it or not, Eki, there is some truth to that.  I do not know how to communicate in a creative way in which people have referred to myself, and others, as "pussies."  Do not misinterpret me, I do not want to know.  It is a culture and class I do not know, and it is why I am disinterested in learning.  It actually bores me; it has nothing at all to do with poor taste.

The change this forum has undergone has been great for me because, even prior to the change, I tried to wean myself from using it but it was a habit of mine to visit the Off Topic section.  The change in the rules has rendered this forum nearly valueless and useless for me, and in many respects, vulnerable and disarmed.  Since I do not play MMORPGs at this point, even though I am subscribed to one, my continued presence here has become strange, even inexplicable.

I do think that I need a forum to discuss politics, economics, and very rarely religion.  This is not the appropriate forum for me, but it was not before either.  Honestly, thank you, and I have nothing against anyone (liberal, conservative, both/neither).  It is actually important for me to get so frustrated with this forum that, without a any sort-of farewell, I just gradually use it increasingly less and less.
