Hello. I am seeking a MMO that there is a lot of chill out grouping going on, not only on high levels but on low levels as well.

- Not gigantic raids.
- Not organized stuff.
- Not full of achievement junkies that ask you to have build #9485934859 and Teamspeak/Ventrilo.
- Not full of ass-hats that call random people "noobs" every 2 min.
- PvE focused
- A decent community
- Would prefer a subscription based, but open to other options/suggestions.

Try EVE.

the game you seek is LOTRO..... thats pretty much the only one that would match what your looking for. some people say they have a problem finding groups for the long quest lines, i've never had an issue with it, and you won't find a more mature community. everyone is pretty relaxed, and just enjoying their game.

With "group heavy" i meant no solo. I am terribly bored to solo on MMOs. Hell if i wanted that i can stay with my single player RPGs. I play Gothic 3 at the moment and it is way more fun than doing stupid quests solo on a MMO.
From my experience people don't group up if they can solo.

Try DDO, its very group centric and have a good community with alot of players at lower levels.

If WoW = The Beatles
and WAR = Led Zeppelin
Then LotrO = Pink Floyd

I was thinking about DDO but when i heard about going F2P i thought it was going downhill. A couple of questions:

1. The US servers don't block IPs right?
2. I read somewhere that the EU service, although it is P2P, it is not on par with the US patch but a couple of versions behind... Any idea if that's true? I generally read bad comments about EU service.

I don't mind subscription but if the EU service is of lower quality than the US then what's the point? I live in Europe (Greece).

The F2P model seems to be huge success so far and the US servers are packed with people.

Lots of europeans play on the US servers so I think its better to play there. You can still pay a monthly sub on the US servers to get access to everything or choose to be F2P and buy stuff with microtransactions. Its Free to try!

Sounds like you described Final Fantasy XI. It's about 90% all grouped, and no lame quest grinding.

Try Vanguard.  It also has a free trial.  Very group centric.

DDO F2P or P2P, doesn't really matter. Great game either way.

This is F2P done right. You CAN actually play it without paying AND have a lot of fun.

Ok, thanks all for the replies, much appreciated :) I 'll try checking them all. Downloading DDO now. Really want to try FFXI also - it is a very long time on my MMOs-to-check list, wouldn't want to miss it. (I had that happen with Tabula Rasa already - bought the game but was playing WAR at that time. When i stopped playing WAR, TR had shutdown :S)

You want to try FFXI? it contradicts many things you said you don't want.

Gigantic raids.

Organized stuff.

No achievement junkies but there are ass-hats that if you do not have really good gear you won't get a group or you'll get booted from one once they see that your gear isn't good enough.
