DF is not dead or even close to it, (NA) Darkfall is not dead. Best quote from the above thread: "People can't complain about not having action... Steps to finding action: 1) Find a DF alliance map Some of my magic skills are not 100 because I do just that, run around fighting people constantly. I find more and more people everywhere I go. The definition of insanity: doing the same thing over and over expecting different results. When will developers (and players) become sane? Now go eat some grass like everyone else. |

I think it is a very bold statement to say that DFO is thriving. It might not be dying, but it's far from booming. However, things like this are good examples of how players see the game. Quite interesting, in itself. |

Those rules for finding PvP only apply to the EU server. The NA server still has people in NPC cities and else where

If the world was actually big and barren then I'd say ya ok the population could be bigger than it seems. But I still play UO every once in awhile and just on the main continent of UO it takes me longer to run from one end to the other, and I find a lot more people out and about in UO than I do in DF> The only difference is UO has lots of servers. DF has one NA server. It took me 4 hours to run from one end to the other. It's not that big of a world. It takes at least 24 hours to cross one of the many UO continents. |

In DF it takes about 50 mins to run from Elf area to Human area on a horse - that is all the way across the main continent in less than an hour. That is around 3/4th of the entire server (there is a small body of water on each side of the main continent). You can run from the very top of the UO continent to the very bottom in about 20 minutes on a horse.. If there had not been water, I believe you could run the entire distance of the server in about 22 minutes. |

There are mobs that drop up to 5 runestones at a time that are not that hard to kill, you just have to find them. So saying runestones are to expensive is a thing of the past. With the exception for buying the skill for 5k to actually mark them. The definition of insanity: doing the same thing over and over expecting different results. You sound pretty desperate to try and prove this, Zeno. Are you sure you're not trying to convince others, but only yourself? http://www.havenandhearth.com |

Why try and convice us? Have you been posting in the threads on the official boards complaining of population issues?
Most of us are happy for you if the game is indeed actually growing. The upcoming transfers and the October "expansion" will have a lot to say about the population for DarkFall. Let's wait and see a month or so after those are implemented and see how it goes. |

It's been almost 1 year since I started posting here about DarkFall. Still waiting. |

LOL, you know a game is struggling when it's fans/developers post on forums saying, "Hey everybodies, this game's not dying!!! I swear!" The one and only. |
