Okay this is starting to annoy me... i have been looking at a few threads on here... i see this "Revolution" in MMO's what is this? I here its just a Sandbox of WoW... I here all this Garbage spewing from peoples mouths about a great game Dang Straight im a WoW fan boy its a bad ass game that deserves its medals ... Dont diss a game because you suck at it or even dont like it atleast admit when its good maybe not for you but when it has sold more copies then any other game.. its a good game... and you just need to get off your high horse and sit down and say well yeah its good... but its not for me thats fine.... not just this constant bickering because you dont like it sooo that makes it horrible this is a rant... Your horrible English I would excuse, because you are from Portugal. However, the OP is from the US. He is also talking seemingly randomly, and you can't really even tell what his aim is other than "WoW is awesome". I myself am not a native English speaker, as I am from Norway, but good lord the OP is messed up. The lack of a comma in his title alone messes up his meaning. "MMO's Simple Right Wrong?" That makes no sense. It SHOULD be "MMO's simple, right? Wrong." That way, you know that he is talking about what you are thinking, and then contradicting that.

But to laugh at a guy and still make the same errors...  is perhaps a good sign of the quallity on mmorpg.com posters.

Is it the nerd deffence to attack someones typing ablities im american im big fat and lazy i dont want to type more then i have to at one time... i dont use commas because i realy dont know where there at on my keyboard and i dont want to search for 1 key soo that some baby on a forums crys about my typing get over it realy.. go suck a huge popsickle =] and if you need a comma to tell you how things mean you have no comrahensive skills and yes i will typo im 16 years old im not a 25 year old douche downing on someones typing because oh god he expressed hes opinion about a game... and actualy its proven ppl who learn English use it more properly then ppl who are native in it... My errors were corrected before you posted. Also, the errors I had were not something I mentioned, as his spelling was not on my list. Also, I am not sure why you highlighted the "Not", because it was a bulleted list, not complete sentences. Also, I play WoW, so no, you are incorrect on all fronts.

The comma is next to the period key, which you overuse as it is. You are 19 years old, and don't know the difference between here and hear... And you cant manage even basic sentence structure, grammar or punctuation. The simple fact that you are trying to defend WoW is proving the point of most people that dont like WoW, and that is the fact that WoW people are generalized as 13 year old kids that can't type at a 5 year old level. Also, you claim to be 16 now, but I am pretty sure your profile states 19... Also impressive. Besides, 16 or 25, you should be passed the basics of English.

First off, your myspace does not prove you are 16. Once again, I find it odd that you are lying about your age on your profile. Also, if your typing is so terrible here, I doubt it is better anywhere else. I also like that you are tossing out German at the end of your posts which are also not correct in thier construction, which makes me think you are babblefishing them, which is even more pathetic.

Whatever, WoW is great, yeah yeah. Obviously it is a good game, because it has a massive amount of subscribers. All true. However, I would be willing to bet that 90% of the people didn't even read your post, because of what it looks like. Just like you are too lazy to type correctly, most are too lazy to read things that they need to translate like they are hieroglyphics.

Also, who is it that you didn't even know spoke German? And why are you going on about sad pandas?

I said no one talks like they type. Maybe if you took the time to READ instead of looking for grammatical errors you would spend less time pulling people over.

A friend at my work doesn't like WoW because he says the controls are too simple.   He says he prefers a game with controls that are harder to understand so that it weeds out the bad players early on.

He has good reasoning, yet he doesn't understand that while WoW's controls are easy to understand, they are hard to master.  There is no better example of this then arena.  Most people will never get past a 1500 rating.

I don't think that it is the controls themselves that keep people from the 1500 or above rating. That is just a lack of skill, and not using the right skills at the right time. The controls are actually very similar to just about every other MMO. Either way, that is a very odd reason for not liking a game... The controls themselves should be easy to use, but the game itself should be deep.

You make a very good point about games in general:  they should be easy to play and hard to master (chess is the perfect example).  I can't agree that this describes WoW though.  I haven't played since berfore Burning Crusades so this may have changed.  But back then, it wasn't how well you played your character, it was the gear you had on that mattered in a fight.  That is what always bugged me about WoW.

It is still that way today. However, things have changed due to the ease of getting the basic PvP epics. You no longer need to be any good to get some outdated arena gear if you PvP in the battlegrounds. You get the basic set, and then hit the arena. You will not do well against players in better gear unless you are much more skilled than them, but your rating will decrease as you lose, until you are fighting people in your same skill/gear group, you then build up points from there, getting better gear, and being able to progress up the rating ladder. So, the gear factor is not a huge deal in arenas these days, unless you go in with very bad gear. And, even so, you will no matter what get arena points as long as you fight in arenas enough. You just wont be able to wear the best, since they require a certain rating to wear.

One of the better fights in Wotlk these days is the famous arena PVE fight in the Tournament Raids.

The famous 3rd boss encounter in ToC.

Why? Because it showed me my guild (who hardly does PvP and almost none Arena) couldn't do it for 4 weeks.;.. :)) lol

Until my brother, my son and myself came to the "rescue". We all 3 love arena's and the PVE arena boss fights showed painfully some people lack knowledge of all classes.

It was rather simply really, control the second healer, do stuns on the first one and nuke (priest if he's there) and CC two others.

Since the encounter always has a random setup it is simply a wonderful fight to let you see you KNOW the classes.

90% of our guildies hate it, because simply they don't know the fighting abilities of all the classes.

So they SUCK in the real Arena, so they come here and say : Arena sucks, while in reality they just don't know how to play against various classes.

Of course Eye hand coordination does play a role also in the real arena... (that's why I only get to 1750 due to my age of 54). But hell doing better than all those youngster I like that :)))

I would like to have MORE like these PVE Arena fights above. btw Moroes in Kara with its mixed setups was also one of the nicer fights early on.

It shows the depth of WOW (far more than any Wow hater would admit).

And the PvP gear these days ... is just one level difference between excellent and the usual one. The better PvP er with the average gear will win a LOT.

 Edit: I don't know what's happening but Alliance is winning all BG's today with ease... Did Horde use the EU faction changes? :)))) or perhaps the worst Alliance players joined their side (more likely) :)

WoW is one of the best MMOs ever released, no doubt.
WOTLK ruined a lot of it for me, but it's still an amazing game, and it's retarded to say that WoW sucks because you got bored/you fail in arena/you fail in general PvP/you die on Thaddius.
