She is the only one that kept the horde and the alliance basically from going into an all out war yet she is no where mentioned in cataclysm. Also leaked the guardians of tyrisfal were looking to add a mage into their ranks and no one mentioned jaina. And today it is now known she will lead the assault alliance side against the lich king. Something tells me she will be killed off because their killing off a major WoW horde hero in cataclysm cairne and horde players always complained of blizzard killing their heros.
I think she will die next patch Datnews.blogspot.com |

Well Jaina turns up at the end of the 5man icecrown dungeon and there's a mention of Arthus being the last boss, Maybe Arthus kills her. http://www.worldofwarcraft.com/info/underdev/3p3/icecrown.xml The Lich King: Sylvanas, thirsty for vengeance against the corrupted prince who sentenced her to an existence as an undead monstrosity, and Jaina, eager to find a flicker of Arthas's soul locked somewhere within the Lich King, have brought their hand-picked allies to this final confrontation. Arthas's true power may only now be discovered. Is there any hope in this mission, or does only death await? If we do fight arthus in the 5man we wont kill him ofc, so maybe just a little scuffle which leave Jaina dead, at which point the lichking leaves. |

I dobut that, because then Sylvana would have to die too, as horde version of story at Icecrown will be same. And Sylvana will be there in Cata. Plus she is too valuable character for the story, in case they want eventualy to end war between aliance and horde that is comming, she will again have to take role of the 'ambasador' :) BTW R.I.P. Cairne :( P.S. I'll roll rogue goblin even though i hate rogues, just so i could sneak to the Garosh and kick pwn him into the oblivion ^^ |

Sylvannas wouldnt have to die, as Jaina would most likely get closer to the Lich King and try to talk with him, sylvannas would most likely continue her assault on him and he would probably retreat against her. Datnews.blogspot.com |

You've quoted this paragraph. You would have had to read this paragraph to know to quote it. This paragraph spells Arthas correctly as Arthas... yet before and after the paragraph, you spell it "Arthus". My guess is you've also played WotLK and saw Arthas' name plastered everywhere in text. Read slower. Comprehend. |

Very good post. And now that I've come to think of it .... Aren't the Horde getting a new Chief too (instead of Thrall it is the much more radical and Alliance hating Garrosh). With Thrall being replaced by Garrosh and Jaina Proudmoore dying... I guess Blizzard wants to bring back a complete all out war in WOW. The couple gone, nothing is going to stop a night of the long knives. Perhaps the time of the "peaceful" collaboration in "neutral cities" will be a thing of the past in future expansions. How about this time line: CATACLYSM: The beginning of an all out atttack between Alliance and Horde. NEXT expansion: complete shut down of all "neutral cities" in which both Alliance and Horde "live" together. : My guess is they will shut down Dalaran and Shat. Next: all out war with both factions having a go at each others main capitols. That's what people have been asking the last 2 years isn't it ? Complete with full city sieges and changing worlds through phasing. Perhaps we will see the best RvR in the future years of WOW... :))))
Look Zorndorf lost a star again. ;)) The inconvenient linked truth hurts on mmorpg.com |
