Am I the only one that experience the Beta sign up site reloading all the time ?

Imagine how bugged game will be , if you can not even sign up to test it due to bugs in login page

Just keep trying, it took me about ten minutes to get out of it and show i completed registration.  I think their poor server has been inundated beyond their anticipation.  Also, try a different browser if you have multiple ones installed.  Good luck!

I tried for almost 15 mins, still kept looping, finally got to system scan and all of the sudden, back to start, way too frustrated to keep trying tonight, maybe in the am.....

I got better things to do with my day than keep on typing in my personal details into the screen to keep being rejected, very poor I must say, dont think I have encountered this kind of problem signing up for Beta before, normally BISH BASH BOSH its done

Is this a joke?? first time loops to the agree...secont time gives several errors in line xxx and xxx...omg...good start..they cant put a simple register page working? They should know wtf they are doing....

Boooo, I must have gotten lucky then....  It kept all of my personal info in it each time.  Dunno, maybe that was due to my browser (firefox) not sure tho.  Either way, sorry to hear about your rotten luck!

PS. for what it is worth, your post did crack me up quite a bit with your bish bashing =)

I was having the same problem. If u are a new user, just register first. Dont try to register + sign up in beta at the same time. After register, check ur inbox and validate your account. When you finish it, sign-up in the website and enter the account window, you will have the option to sign-up for beta in there. If you get a loop, try instead of clicking "Continue" using the "Cancel" or whatever button.(Sounds strange i know, but worked for me). Step by step i think i finish it all. My account now looks like this:

nothing happens its the same story though i keep getting a mail thatmy acc is updated.

that is the worst analogy i've ever heard website designers dont design games =D

Everytime I click "continue" on "detailed Information"page it kicks me back to "Terms & Conditions"

good, maybe these issues will weed out all the people that think betas are just early demos.

had the same issues but stuck at it went through in the end :)  although i did end up with over 30 emails saying my account info has been updated lol :P

I heard there was an issue with Firefox, try signing up in IE

Couldnt complete register with FF so tried out IE and it worked. thnx

I tried it In IE to and it did the same thing: kicked me back to the register screen. *sigh

I tried IE too...same shit.

in http://www.swtor.com/user/register/ keeps looping back to start with this indicated missing:

* Display Name field is required.
* Log In Email field is required.
* Verify Email field is required.
* Password field is required.
* Verify Password field is required.
* You must agree to the terms.

tried using IE8, firefox and netscape8; none can create an account.

An account i made long ago NOW is not recognized in the login. Quite unprofessional of EA, this flawed beta reg process.

Lol, i wonder how a company who can't design a simple register process can build a AAA MMOG...
