EQ2 CSR:the Bug you reported is a new game feature, and will be removed in the next patch. |
What MMOs are using or going to upgrade to DX11 and which ones are compatible with eyefinity the AMD/ATI multi-monitor viewing experience? |

"Are you currently using the dual monitor setups? Those setups will look like something of ancient ages before this monitor. It has a 43 inch curved display with 2880X900 resolution in 32:10 aspect ratio. According to the manufacturer NEC, it has a four panels seamlessly blended with a unique adaptation of DLP technology. The response rate is a superfast 0.02 milliseconds. With 12 bit color depth and 100% sRGB color range means that it has wide color gamut to represent the exact color. With a 200cd/m brightness and 10000:1 contrast ratio I am waiting to play FarCry 2 on this monitor in the weekend." SOURCE |

"Easy" only equals "better" for crack addicts and MMORPG developers. |

Damn nice screen. But my logic is, if the game sucks on a regular screen...it will still suck with a bigger screen...just look better. And if a game is good, it will still be good on either screen...just better on the bigger screen. |

this techno is and will be useless for all mmo ,it might i say might come handy when microsoft is done tweaking the new software that will make very big pvp a reality but for now nothing is boosted so ,if you dont set graphic low enough you get bad lag so nice graphic wont be avail even with that set-up those manufacturer are silly or just making it for cable football season fan or non-mmo game but for mmo those company will have to start manufacturing software that make it possible to run game in high def or such i think i will try the game stream thing soon ,maybe the only thing that could maybe use these baby dont get me wrong when the rest follow it will be nice but for now in mmo its worthless techno oh you ll get way bigger picture lol

Pretty sure Eye-finity works at the hardware level so a game doesn't need to actively support it unless its one of those fixed resolution games. MMORPGs have always lagged when it comes to graphics for a good reason. When it comes to games that use DX11, I can see any game that currently supports DX10 upgrading to DX11. However, I don't think you will notice a difference visually unless the developers make a consorted effort to use all the features in DX11. Offering DX11 support can be anything, and is probably just switching the rendering back-end while not making use of new features. |
