If you see someone naked its beacuse they got killed or are not willing to loose their gear while doing somethign pointless. Like calling guards on people exploiting the npcs. Also they could have just made a new character and dont know how to get clothing.

 I know MO is suppose to be realistic and stuff being a sandbox MMO. But isn't it pretty unrealistic that people would walk around naked? I mean, in the real world you rarely see complete strangers walk around naked?

It is realistic that you would be able to take off all your cloths, but making it beneficial to do so because your afraid to loose your equipment if you get ganked makes it unrealistic. If anything, it should be bad to walk around naked. I'm not opposed to the nudity in itself, just a bit confused as to why.

Your obviously not thinking about the fact that this isn't staged in the modern world this is being staged in comparison probably the medieval times.

Only benefit for taking off your close is yea if you don't die you won't lose anything but you also won't be able to do anything either. You need tools to go gather stuff, if you get attacked you can't defend yourself so if you just spent an hour gathering your screwed.

People still run around naked in this day and age

The only reason people stopped running naked in medival Europe was because it tended to get fricking cold and also people on horses were trying to kill you so wearing armour became de-rigor

Go back to Pagan and Celtic times, they wore minimal clothing

Its only since victorian times that things we used to take for granted have become socially 'unacceptable'

Never said those SS didn't look like shit, I just brought up the fact that those are not the ending graphics, they still have yet to put speedtree 5.0 into the game and they claim closer to release they are going to make the character models look better.

Also you have to admit that this game has some of the best long range graphics, staring into the distance the mountains, clouds look amazing, and this is without high quality textures.

Also calling me a fanboy is just stupid, where have I blindly defended this game, most of the time I am just shooting down speculation. I can understand opinions but don't back your opinion by pure speculation.

I think in the ancient world there actually was alot of what we would consider "casual" nudity, they didn't have much in the way of clothing period, and were alot more in tune with the the natural world (people peed, and pooped pretty openly, not to mention sex....).

I give them (the developers) credit for if nothing else being realistic in their graphics of people. No idea if the game is any good or not, but they've got some guts beyond what we see in other developers who are afraid to do -anything- but follow lock-step behind WoW.

Game looks incredible and has a very 'OBLIVION'-ish feeling about it... but I couldn't enjoy first person view all the time, personally.  Thank you for sharing though :)
