The US server list has expanded with the addition of [West]Fregion, which is now live and accepting players! This isn't the end for new servers, either, as the addition of a new European and East Coast server are forthcoming. No further details on the additional two servers are currently available, however.

About god damn time...but I fear ONE in Europe is not going to help one bit. :/ 

They are only adding one for now and will add two more at a later date for the EU servers. So far only one for the East coast server as they already added a West coast one.

what a good do have not been able to play for the last 2 days on the eu server im on its a 3hr wait time you wait in line then with in half an hour it just disconnects you.

ncsoft is there any chance i can play in my free mouth ??? my toon is lv20, i dont want to reroll on a new server and do it all over again.

because servers are just right there plugged in loaded and ready to go right? all you have to do is flip a switch without any thought at all right? You don't need to account for the people who will leave in a month at all do you? Over expanding doesnt really hurt your business amirite? the one monthers leaving and making a server empty and useless isnt a waste of thousands of dollars at all you are right. Yeah, plus a whole week of waiting time, can you imagine ? That's totally unacceptable. How slow and non-reactive they are, they're clearly incompetent, let's get them all fired !

While I'm not a huge fan of the move to put out more servers (because if people leave, that leaves servers empty and results in server mergers, which very few people like), I'm glad they're taking a bit more time, but I hope that this round of new servers is the limit. The last thing any MMO needs is to spread themselves out too thin.

yep better to have a 5 year line up at resto then a walmart size resto that is empty

launches aren't perfect, and servers are almost always full for every game that luanches, if they add new servers, chances are a fair share of them will be ghost towns in 2 months once the population dies off after the free month 'n such.

well thats my 6 and a half hour wait up time to go to the land of nodd might have better luck tomorrow happy gameing :)).

One server at a time is good. I like where Ncsoft is headed.

Yes, it's not that poeple pay to play the game and pay for the server they do not get to play on or pay for a product they can not play because NCsoft failed to anticipate the amount of subs. Clearly why are poeple complaining. Damn why do people believe believe they have any costumer rigth at all!

If a game is good enough, people will not flee it in a month.  If people are playing it now, they are interested in a new game so there is no reason to expect a mass exodus unless there is something wrong with the game.

So far I see no reason to expect this game not to expand beyond what we are seeing in the first month, so lagging behind demand for servers make little sense. 

Not releasing enough servers for people to play for fear of them becoming empty in a month is planning for failure.

This.

NCSoft runs the danger of creating a self-fulfilling prophecy by planning for future empty servers. It's as if they are not confident in their product so are planning for a mass exodus. If people simply CAN'T play then of course they'll not re-sub next month. If a game is good, then people will play it. If it fails to deliver an enjoyable experience, then servers will be empty in 2 months (see Warhammer Online).

I fully appreciate the balancing act NCSoft is trying to pull off and it's not easy...but they DID know that servers were jammed full to the brim from the Head Start and SHOULD have had contingency plans. Free server transfers come to mind. New servers w/o transfers is not a true solution to server overcrowding.

We will see a drastic number drop once this free month is over with i think. due to bad managment by NCSOFT.

well here i am on day 3 trying to logg into the massively muliplayer online game aion been at it 4 hours so far been waiting in line first time 45 mins to go and its a you have been disconncetd form the servers :)), try again 15 mins left to go and itsa a disconnect for the server again  :)).

its not looking good trying to play aion on day 3 of trying to logg in. seems its not going to be fixed like the us side were i am told its a 20 min wait top. hoo well lets keep trying might have some luck :)).

Always wait to buy a new MMORPG. It takes a month to work out the kinks and see where everything settles. If you actually enjoy the game, the month delay will be nothing in the long run. You won't even remember it.
