 Most games dont have one before the 1 yr mark. Will be a while before you get to try for free.

I am never buying another MMO without trying it out first. Right now $50 bucks is a lot of money and far too many MMO makers produce complete rubbish.

Any game that crashes on launch day is a joke. In the software world we have a cool concept. Its called SQA. And I am not referring to the user base. It's disgusting to turn paying customers into alpha testers.

If you're in the software world and believe every piece of software ships bug free, then you're an idiot. And the game didn't actually crash on launch day, it crashed almost a week later.

As to your statement about never buying a mmo without trying it first, let me be the first to say you're simply a pretentious ass who thinks his opinion matters when it has no bearing on anything with the matter at hand.

It crashed more then 2 1/2 weeks after pre-launch 9/09 and a week after launch 9/22. I've never been in a launch where there wasnt a server crash. FE is diff because its all on one server not one of a dozen, making it noticable.

Trolls are just getting lazy nowadays, they used to at least have a ember of truth in thier wild flames.

There have been a number of free trials given out since FE launched, and there will probably be more at some point soon. Just keep your eyes peeled. I am sure that someone will post in these forums and I am positive that it will appear on the official site or forums if there is a trial.

There was a 15 day free trial for FE during their halloween event special. you missed the boat on that.
