Couple of days ago I started playing Project Powder, was quite happy with the game also. I even payed a little money, and got me some clothing from the item mall. After a while I started playing the battle system, which is like pvp on a snowboarding track, and that really appealed to me for some reason. And even though I'm relatively low level, you can still end up taking high places, even first.

What ruined it for me after two days of playing, is the fact that they've added a feature to kick people out of game rooms. So there are game rooms where you race against other people, with a random player host that starts the race. So the host can kick anyone out of the room, even without reason. Today only I've found myself being kicked out about 10 times by some high level players, and there's nothing you can do about it. And with only 1-3 team battle rooms you got nowhere to go.

It made me so angry, that for the first time in my mmo playing history I quit a game on the third day. Its also the first game where I've seen such self-worship from high level players.

So to separate the two:

The technical side of the game, its not bad at all. Kept me playing. But what they allow players to become, its not right, and will probably ruin it for a lot of beginners and people just looking for a good time. These days it seems to be too much about 'not being a noob', or trying to feel strong by calling others noob the whole day.

*Does a commercial voice*, "All new and improved....with Project Powder, you can now call them noob, then 1 second later kick them out, and feel even better about yourself!"

The OP clearly states that the community isnt as good as the game hes played there for nice one.

 Anyways glad I read this, was thinking about trying the game. But not if the community is that childish. Games are meant to be for FUN, not some emotional outlet so you can feel superior to others.

The game host is just the winner of the last race.

And if you don't like that, just start an own room.

I never get kicked out if I press Ready.

i got kicked out once, no idea why.  but my problem with this game as a starter is that the choices for character/outfit are so limited, and I just get tired of staring at the same thing over and over again.
