I loved Private store, IMHO, specially how they made stack breaking available in it, so people could buy the quantity they wanted , this increased sales so much, and the AH only lets you sell stacks, so it's annoying when you're a buyer. But people QQed and NCSoft bent over and let all the whiners rape them and rape them good. This shows that this could end up like WoW, where people who QQ most get what they want.

Here is the list of what NCsoft needs to remove to truly remove AFKers.

1. Auto-run. Indeed, if you auto-run into a corner, you won't get flagged as AFK, this lets you stay in the game (people were already doing it).

2. The in-game MAcro utlity. Since it even allows timed actions, it's VERY easy to have it use certain actions, like resting, and loop 2 macroes with each other so you character will sit down and get up every minute.

3. Skills, someone could tape his "1" key so it will spam the same action over and over, or skill over and over, even if the skill isn't being used, it will break the AFK flag.

4. All character movement, if auto-run is removed, someone can simply tape his Up Arrow key and basically do the same as if he was Auto-running.

I think its kind of funny how not logging out is an exploit.

This is where the CN version had it right.
People wouldn't be doing that kind of shyte if they were paying by the hour to play.

Either way, I think it is funny and sad at the same time that this is how the game is making its start in the western world.
It does prove what an 'amazing' community Aion has as well.... 

People weren't really QQ about the whole store thing.  People were just pissed about the lines to get into servers and NCsoft realized that a lot of people go for HOURS in a private store.  Also A LOT and I mean A LOT of people used it as a AFK substitute, so they wouldn't get logged out.

Am all for in game stores because they do have some good points. BUT when ppl put in their message "No Line for Me" "No Que for me" ect...... this is what burns me. O and when ppl put up an item for 999,999,999 come on get real here. Now with the auto run ect.... NC might just start to banned ppl for exploit ?? I say give it a few weeks and it will all be good.

Vulnero, I understand that, but they changed it because tons of people QQed on the suggestion forums and saw it as the "MAIN WAY PEOPLE AFK". They broke something under the pressure of the customers, this is bad. WoW does it all the time, why do you think Pallies are still OP and not getting nerfed? Because whenever they nerf them, there is a ton of QQing all over the forums, and they have to set it back. I don't remember teh date, but there was a huge nerf to pallies at some point in BC, and it was mostly reverted because the class was now balanced and it wasn't an easy-win class anymore.

I always loved NCsoft because of Guild wars and Lineage 2, they barely listend to the people, they just did what they thoguht was right, and that's why you have 2 solid games, both are very well balance, guild wars probably being THE most balanced game ever. And I thought they'd stand up the customers. I've posted this before, and I'll post it again.

People are whining for no reason. The main reason NCsoft is diconnecting folks after 30 minutes if because the weekend is upon us and if they didn't do something about the greedy AFK'ers them new people will not be able to log in at all. This is the first weekend they are going to experience since the game launched. This game is going to be HUGE. Blizzard I am afraid you might just get de-throned with this one. (Good ridance to bad rubbish) I am sure NCsoft will revert back to the norm after more servers have been added and the population is aleviated. Still the log in que is going to be bad beyond acceptable this weekend as the game is still new and people are still buying thier copy and all logging on new accounts...So stfu and go enjoy the game!!

We have WOW to thank for this by the way cause the better community there was Horde and people are assuming the better gameplay here will be Asmodian......Wrong! Aion is quite the opposite. Cause most of thier playerbase right now are burnt out WOW players. Use your common sense people (Wait I forgot WOW players have no logical sense of reason...after all they are WOW players)

Make a character on both factions on different servers and observe the /1 general chat spam difference and you will see I am right!
