I played in the beta several times and I have to say that I wasn't impressed at all. Sure the visuals were OK but the game really felt like a cheaper crappy asian wow ripoff. Like lotro made by an asian grindfest company. Now I'm not a wow fanboy, I dont play it, and I know that Aion was never really supposed to bring anything new to the table... I guess I just feel that if you are gonna market your entire game based on a better version of something out....
shouldn't it be better? Which it wasn't in beta, at all.
So can I get some objective opinions on players about gameplay? (I know there is a ton of grinding, that's w/e to me, i mean purely mechanics here). |

If you didnt like the game in beta you wont in Release. Its the same experience (Minus game guard) with a lot more players. Sounds like Aion is not for you. I wrote down my throughts in the Aion Review |
