So i bought my eu account for aion online, spent all day downloading the cilent and after a nap and waking up... (AMERICAN CILENT) WTH!!!From steam, you've been warned!

they use the same client, it will work fine

Just rename your main AIOn folder to AionEU, and it will automatically change the state in your launcher. Its not a big deal :) And dont worry, the Clients are the same so there will be no problem. So if you want your game in French or German, just download the language update via your NCsoft launcher after you have changed the folder name. Happy gaming :)

I'll be expecting to play some time tomorrow morning now lolz, since i deleted it! ARGH

at first when launching it said something like "is not open in your area"

Oh wait i didnt see you downloaded it at steam O.o  The way posted above is if you downloaded it via the official NCsoft launcher. But the clients must be the same anyways... so maybe it will work in the same way.

But you can also play on the EURO servers when there is written US Client. At NCs official launcher you can make sure to connect to the euro servers in putting in the right IP adress under properties. If their is the same function at the steam launcher, the IP for the euro server is  -ip:206.127.147.28 -port:2106 -cc:2

Heres my current progress, like an hour n 20 minutes to go, #

scroll to the right, i have 2 monitors

Whys it say Aion(europe) then have just Aion, if Aion(Europe) is the one i need i've been downloading the wrong one -.-

 I got mine through ncsoft store downloaded ok, its works fine but every time i start the launcher it trys to get me to download the us version. i can skip it which isnt really a problem its just really annoying is there anyway to stop this ?

Yeah my computers awnsome and laughs at the things thrown at it, also i hate apple with passion and am a graphics designer for various zune websites, own a zune hd, Safari... not so much also have firefox installed but depends what type of mood im in,

also seeing i'm using windows 7 i have to fiddle about with game guard files which is bollox, but has to be done :)
