So as the title says I've been thinking about making a return to AC. I played in the beta and for a few years before I joined the Army then I got too busy to play anymore. I've been thinking about coming back and am on the free trial right now and I have a few questions for people who are still playing.

1. Could I still have a good time on Darktide and later on maybe be somewhat able to stand a chance in PvP?

2. Which server would be the best for a returning player? (Population wise and helpful community)

3. Would I always feel behind or could I possibly catch up enough to do stuff with the rest of the population.

These are some of the questions bouncing around in my head. Ever since I stopped playing AC I've wanted to come back. But I feel now that after 10 years I would be too far behind the power curve to participate with people since I would be starting from scratch. Thanks. I'm looking forward to checking out AC again!

Darktide isn't very newb friendly, but it is the most populated server. The other servers are all fairly close except for Verdantine. Avoid Verdantine and you'll be OK.

You'll need to be at least level 150 to hangout with most of the other people. Most quests these days are 150+ (the cap level cap is 275). You won't be competetive until 180. It seems like a high number, but leveling is much easier these days. Quests give A LOT of xp. You can level entirely on quests.

The new hot trade items are Mana Forge Keys. You get them from quests. Again they are easy to obtain if you do the right quests. So you should have no trouble trading and obtaining items once you start getting Mana Forge Keys.

Well I'm back now and I'm loving it. Can't believe I've been wasting my time with all these other mmos. I should have gone back to AC long long ago. I just wish there was more people!

Well we can always hope more people will come to the realisation that you did and rejoin the best MMO out there ;-).

Plus the 10th anniversary will hopefully have some vets making a return to the game to check out the changes.
