The servers just went down and I have looked on their website for something telling why they are going down or for how long they will be down. Does anyone know whats going on and when the servers will be back up?

Hah. I can picture all the AFK slot holders to be pretty pissed when they get home and need to stand in line to play :P

does the game not have an auto log out after so long?

Good job. They should do a daily server-restart to fix the AFK shoppers that cause 3-4 hour queues heh.

Makes life easier for the EU players who spend our days off trying ot log in, instead of AFKing and coming home from work to play straight awyay.

It does, but if you set up a shop in the game, with say, 1 item priced at 900,000 Kinah, it keeps you logged in until your internet, power, computer, or the server dies hehe.

they shouldnt have enabled private stores in the first place, use the fraggin AH please.  And they need to allow more items to be put in AH when selling.

Yea that stupid not to have a auto log out or a server restart or something to kick all the AFKers off so us who really wanna play can play!

They could have at least given us 10 minutes heads up, I was deep in some scarey turf! When I log back in I may be in trouble! ;-)

Well about queve time... i always log straight in on the elyos side... but the problem is the asmodian side are so extremly popular that it creates intense queve times for them. the AFK shoppers also got a thing to do with it. Playing on Gorgos ive not yet had to queve to log in after 3 long days of playing 15+ hours a day ( as Elyos ).

Server downtime=fresh air. Honestly don't sweat it, go outside have a jog or something, come back and check the site. They should have some news by then.

Well I am about to have to go to work so i was trying to finish up a level before I went in but its not looking like that is going to happen. Oh well life goes on I guess!

Wait Wait Wait you think that wait time is going to ease up on the WEEKEND when everyone is off work and noone has anything else to do but play this game? You really think that? hahaha wow! Heres some advice for ya I would go ahead and reconsider your choices now if thats wat your really expecting!

Till when are the servers down? I was home early today and realy wanted  to give my char a rush.....

The wait time better be a temporary solution. No one wants to wait for a half an hour for a game to load, It's unacceptable. I understand that they are trying to controll server population and also trying to keep both class populations even, but this is not acceptable long term. 

I hope it is a short term fix. I love this game but this is a deal breaker. 

On another note, it's also unprofessional (for an MMORPG) to close servers without notice. NOT COOL. They need to have REALTIME info on the website concerning server information. Or any big issues that the game may be having. 

OK ... deep breath .... it's only day 2 .... I'll give em at least a month to get their ducks in a row.

Realtime info doesn't do you much good if the freaking website goes down everytime something unexpected happens...

Server went down because they were worry with the health of that ppl that dont stop playing since Sunday

really wish they would update thier site with some info as to when they will be back up tho... i already cleaned my house, and washed/waxed my car while i waited and i'm bored.

yes it seems they have trouble keeping maintenence with thier website or something that website goes down every time something major happens 4th anniversary for guild wars website went down for 3 days almost  although i agree there should be something to alert players to have some idea of when to jump back in so they dont wait for 20 mins to get in to not contact server to be kicked out of the client to have to start the process again also why does the client do that ? if it doesnt connect to anything it drops the game

This would be the smartest thing to do but it seems they are not listening to solutions that were proven to work in "another" MMO. ;-)

There is but only when your not in stall mode.

Where do you find out what the server status is??? I can't seem to find out on there official website?
