LOL... Such narrow mindedness, you ask for something new, fresh and different. SWTOR embodies a lot of elements yet unknown. But instead of this thread being based on some topic worth while you are worried about being able to party 50 people together in one group.... LOL... that is funny, and the "what about the guilds with 100s of members?" bit won’t work here. Even if you have huge number of members in your guild, making small parties will still work fine. Even more so as you coordinate all the parties through what ever system available, this will a lot for true hierarchy style playing it would be nice to have a chain of command actually represented and not just a flavor text.

Because if you were really concerned about pre-cu you would be playing the one we all know exsists and costs you nothing instead of wasting your time here on a game that has little to do with SWG other than the IP. That would be like me going in and trolling a game made by another company based on NWN or BG and saying how it should be exactly like DDO because it's all based on D&D lore. People would just tell me to GTFO.

As long as the majority of the game world is persistent I will be fine with it.. From the looks of it the game will offer tons of small group content which is what the MMO genre is sorely missing IMO. |

Nope you wouldn't... in fact right now you'd have a better job at trying to convince an apple its an onion. BioWare won't listen to you, and they don't care about you. They are making a real MMO, and it will do well without you. You can threaten that there are 300K players that want a PreCU SWG out of ToR... but you'd be wrong... if nothing else make that 299K because I want bioware to make their own game and not copy buggy crap from years ago.
Since you're so gung ho about bringing back old things because they're better.. maybe you should take a break from playing MMOs and Computer games and go play on an abacus for awhile. Then maybe when you come back you'll be able to rationalize that not all companies have to listen to you to make a successful game. |

No clue man, never played on Ahazi. My first server was Scylla, which appears to be getting cut from the server list. It was just to social there, not much going on, my PA was always trying to fight people just to many passive players. So we moved to Bloodfin, lot of skilled PvPers there. Yeah was a ton of trash talk though, :P it was all in good fun, nothing to serious. Me:You're surrounded by darkspawn corpses, what happened here? |

I'm not getting my hopes up yet about TOR. From what we have seen it does look like a single-player game with a chatroom or maybe a game that caters to the small groups like WoW but we will just have to see. Yup, PvP for me is very important and will play a huge role in my interest in ToR. I'll probaby play through story, pay whatever payment method they have when new content releases and play through that and stop again. If the pvp is good I'll keep my sub going. Some role-playing, mostly just good old fashion friendly rivalries. I hope they do have something for the raiders. A friend of mine talked me into trying WoW again for the raiding experience and ugh...10 man "raiding" is so anti-climatic. I've heard so many great stories about raiding in WoW just to find out you don't need to be skilled in your class, you just need to know where to run to avoid the waves of flames. Murashu ~ Shuey |

Yeah WoW raiding is pretty much about going into robot mode. Same thing every fight, boss does stuff, you avoid stuff, you continue same dps rotation entire fight. Never changes. Me:You're surrounded by darkspawn corpses, what happened here? |
