If I had a queue...I played another game XD Since I play on window mode and there is no gameguard holding me back, I just sat there playing another game or watching To Catch a Predator...I have no problem with waiting to play and when I did play, I got level 5 pretty fast and got off to let someone take my place who was probably waiting. I took a few hours break and I am going to go back now and sit in line to wait. |

Count me in as one of the people that don't mind the queues. I'll take this approach over WAR's of having more servers than you need so you avoid queues... just to do server merges later. This will probably carry on for a week or two. In the meantime I'll play during non-peak and not worry about being one of the first to get to end game. Besides, I've seen enough launches. I don't expect any meaningful play in the first few weeks. |

yeah.. why do you post this crap OP? nothing but lies.. From launch to now.. the most I had to wait was 2min.. .. just tested .. got right in.. so.. 8hour que.. HAHA.. dude its your internet.. I would really be checking my settings.. What makes me wonder is .. at times is shows 1200/.. yet I get right in with in seconds.. .. So something is REALLY messed up with the que numbers.. .. making us think there are thousands waiting yet.. everyone I know gets right in too.. hmmm

I'm actually kind of bummed about the complete and utter absence of their customer support team.
One would think they would have the A-team out today, but where are they?
They're saying something about how they can't post on their own forums, but they can for gosh darn sure delete naughty posts right and left! RELAX!@!! BREATHE!!! |

Meh. Took a glance at your post history and it seems you're in the AgtSmith category - someone just looking for excuses to raise torch and pitchfork and rally against Aion.
Can you show us on the doll where the bad videogame touched you?

I have been waiting to play this game for months -- I will wait a few more days until the initial rush dies down -- I will buy it and install it on the 22nd, but not sure when I will activate the acct -- if the ques and drama still persist, I will wait -- this is why I didnt bother with the pre-order, launches are almost always fiascos. |

Indeed. Besides that one time where some company named Blizz had an MMO was completely unplayable for ANYBODY for like the first week. And then that one time where every MMO launch ever is screwy... but besides all that... yeah worst ever.

I very seriously doubt I'll be shelling out any more money to NC Soft.
I have not liked any of their games in the past, I don't really expect that things will be any different with this game. |

That wasn't due to queues though. That was because SOE sucks, and their auth server was borked all day, so NO ONE got in till day 2.

I lol'ed at the OP's ridiculousnessness. Really dude? Did that ruin your day? I expected you to compare at least something to WoW, as you fit the stereotype well. I'm disappointed in you, man. ------------------------------ |

Fail post.
Your opinion is based on the very first few hours of headstart gameplay. Let me guess, you think WOW's launch was flawless... |

yep same here some server had queu true but you just went on another server make another toon and you could play but if you really had to play on x server then yes its seams guild called each other to be on same server ,because when i logged at 3 .15 pm 3 server were low pop and we had 2000 player waiting in line to log ONTHATserver even tho the option to change server was active down below go figure im my view smoothest lunch ,ping never crossed 250 often it was in the 140 full of player around no stutering ,but i saw some had either anti-virus lag or old computer or something because some were walking in wall . but over all went very smooth hell, think of the smoothest game and thats how it played full of player i mean literally packed saw some level 20 already same are powerleveling like mad lol men i cannot say how much i love some music in some area ,i ll love this game unless something really bad crash somewhere ,this game will do nice but like i stated as of yet i havent seen the incentive to stick to it yes its the flavor of the month but further then that it will be pvp ,saw some video posted on aion own site and its the biggest ?combat style of a mage till level 9 is awkward but i think this style give a good chance to each side but it will take a while to find the optimum setup for each class anyway go buy it enjoy it i sure will play it a lot in the coming days

I'm amazed at the community that has absolutely no fuckin clue what is going on. Try to log on Zikel, ya it's fuckin after hours, people are sleeping to work in the morning I'll be doing the same in a couple mins and yet the fuckin queues on that server are still 2hrs long. Just because you aren't having the problem doesn't mean other servers are not. Is it my fault the guild I joined is on a highly populated server? No it's NCsofts for not stopping people to pre-select on a server already full of people. I give up, you people will never understand because you are so think headed. Anyone that said today, well go do something else, read a book, play tomorrow etc. Why the hell should I when I paid to play today, it's not my fault. They provided a service I can't use cause my server has a huge queue. Have I gotten in today? Sure after a 5hr queue that initial said 8hrs, only to get in for 15mins, booted out and thrown in another queue. If that isn't bullshit I don't know what is. This isn't normal, this isn't standard stop sticking up for a company that just screwed an ass load of customers and they know they did.

Well, first, let me say that I am truly sorry you are the only person on the planet that paid extra to get into the head start. I know I didn't pay any extra. Second, this is what you get when you play a game the first day of release (actually the -2nd day of release). Maybe you should wait a month or two, I'm sure the servers will be normalized by that time and you don't have to worry about any queues, or at least, shorter queues. In short, welcome to opening day of a popular MMO run by a competent. I'm assuming it's your first by your reaction. "There is as yet insufficient data for a meaningful answer." |

Dude, you seriously need to relax a little bit there. I understand your frustration at not being able to play today, but if you step back and look at it, its your own issue. You are not bound by any means to staying on that server TODAY. Yes I know your guild is moving to that faction on that server. But come on, what would it have killed for you to create a character on a different server and just PLAY today. Have some fun, and then log into your main server/faction at a later date. Are you so afraid that others in your guild are going to oust you because your one whole day behind them? If they are as close a group as your expecting them to be, I'ld think they would understand really. Whats more important to you anyway, a good day of fun playing in Aion, or a bad day of waiting in queue for hours just so you can be with them? Tomorrow will come either way, its just a matter of how you get there. Oh and if your guild is proficient at all you probably have a teamspeak or Vent server set up from your last game. Why were you not all on that today, and if you were, why didn't you all discuss trying to relocate as a whole? I mean come on, 5 hrs wait, didnt' come up once?? Or is it acceptable for you to have possible queue times from now until forever? The sever you initially chose is more important than being able to play as a group? Just asking man, if it was my guild, we woulda moved without question. Sticking together is far more important than being on the 'IN' server.
