Maybe, if you could get in to play. Right now a large number of folks are being told they have queues of 1700+ (3.5hrs) or, as in my case, being told the servers too full, try back later.

I think so, but most people are in really long lines to even log into servers. So, I'm not sure its worth it for you at this point.

I just pre-ordered a couple of hours ago. In order to play (you can download, yeah 9.1GB but..) you need to register the game on NCSOFT master account. And account server is down at the moment. Been trying to register the game for hours. Can't, they either put it in maintenance or now they just shut it down completely with this message:

We’re Sorry, But the NCsoft Store is Down We’re a victim of our own popularity. So many people are excited about the Head Start Program beginning for our upcoming release, Aion, that our NCsoft Store is having the website equivalent of a traffic jam. Please preorder or buy Aion at one the websites of our retail partners...

So they want you to buy the game but you wont be able to play it unless you already have registered account and game key is registered. And then again you'll have to wait in line like other ppl explained above..

The registration server went down at the start of open beta when everybody had to change their passwords, too.

It doesn't seem to survive getting slammed badly.

I'm in the same exact position as you.  I pre-ordered around 1PM EST today and right when I was about to log in to my master account after the order went through, their site went down.

I'm downloading the game and I'll register whenever I guess. >_<

Yeah same here. I don't plan to play tonight tbh, gonna play some more Fallen Earth I think instead.

Crap I was able to squeeze in and even got to the payment page and then after I clicked on submit the payment it went nuts on me again. I hope they didn't charge me, cause I payed one time for a whole year (11$ a month only with that type of payment). Now its down again.

I can understand the issues with the servers, and even though people don't like it, it's a great sign.  Having servers packed to capacity is great, and when release comes and they open new servers, servers will be full all around and not 190827439027840924 servers so there's 10 people on a server like WAR did.

But the website, I am kind of surprised. That should be taken care of.
